We stayed in the hotel for one night during a visit to Yellowstone National Park. The location is great as it is just on the border as you leave.

Upon arrival at the hotel, there is free coffee and juice for you to enjoy before you go to your room. This was a great welcome and lovely to have after a long day.

The rooms were modern with all the amenities you would need. There is also free wifi throughout the hotel.

The hotel offers free breakfast where you can enjoy eggs, sausages, waffles, toast, etc. with unlimited coffee and fruit juice. A great start to the day!

Rooms and hotel were very nice . There is a stuffed Wolf that is in each of the room that one would consider a gift but beware , they will charge you $15.95 to your card if you keep it . I din`t care for that. Continental Breakfast was pop-up waffles , no pastry . Bagels w/ no Cream Cheese , They said it was coming tuesday , we were there sunday
and there was a grocery store down the street ?? Also most would`t care but the TV had no ESPN ..................... bummer for me

Room Tip: Our room on the second floor was nice but we could here the people next to us

Excellent place to stay when visiting Yellowstone. It's located just outside the west entrance of Yellowstone. Courteous staff, clean rooms, affordable stay. We had a really good dinner one night at the Three Bear Restaurant.

We checked into the Gray Wolf Inn and my husband headed up to our room with key card in hand as I asked questions and finished paperwork at the main desk, When he reached the room the key card unlocked the door but the safety latch was engaged so he could not access the room. He called me and I explained the situation to the desk clerk. (So sorry I have forgotten her name) and she immediately reassigned us to another room. Upon arrival at the new room we were pleasantly surprised to find we had been upgraded to a suite. Everyone at the inn was extremely pleasant and helpful. When we left for the day with the do not disturb sign on the door, we were left a note by housekeeping that if we needed extra towels or anything what number to contact. Never have had that happen any where before.

The inn was right across the street from the Grizzly Wolf Discovery Center and we loved opening the windows at night to hear the wolves howl at the full moon.

I'd really like to give a higher rating, but the door to my room didn't close properly, so I didn't feel entirely safe. The door did lock, but there was a visible glitch and the deadbolt didn't lock properly because of the crooked dior. When I told the woman in the reception, she said they're look at it in the morning (after I'd left).
Apart from the door issue, the room was great and cosy and gave a great first impression. The wi-fi was a bit unstable, though. The complimentary breakfast was good and even though I didn't use the service, they had a complimentary laundry room for their guests. Wow!

We will speak to our staff about this, as we understand that not feeling safe is very frustrating and uncomfortable.
