Unexpected southern cuisine less than hour from Canadian border. The great menu choices in tasteful atmosphere were complemented by prompt service. For a Southerner, I’m usually skeptical of shrimp and grits outside our region, but this was quite good.

Wow!!! If you want a incredible dinning experience with quality ingredients and exceptional dishes this is the place for you. We had a party of 14 and everyone agreed the food was incredible. Top dishes the shrimp and grits, Mac and cheese , mussels, buffalo meat loaf... the prices are actually quite good for the quality of food and service. Definitely will be back....

I had phoned for reservations and was told they don't accept them. After arriving, the host was speaking with someone who had made a reservation....confusing. With that out of the way.... we had a very good dinner. The Pork Shank was amazing! (Constructively: Our server seemed to be a bit in the weeds and was not very attentive. We had to ask others for more bread, parmesan cheese, an additional glass of wine, etc. The Cannoli for dessert was very gritty, not whipped very smooth). We will be back based on the good food!

The steak I had was wonderful and the menu had many tempting options. The staff was very attentive and helpful to recommend but were a little too eager to clear our plates from the table with multiple staff asking if we were done often. They were all kind enough just a bit too insistent and disruptive. The food was delicious and it was a great meal.

We went twice this week while in town. Food is excellent as always. Mike at the front desk is great as always. The first night we went as a couple of four. We ordered catfish strips and gumbo for starters and the entrees were Cajun Pasta and Zydeco Combo. A lot of great food which made a second meal the next day. We also ordered the Creme Brulee. Meal for four was about 200 dollars and well worth it. The next time was dinner for two, all the same with Catfish as an entree and the Double Pork Chop. The cost for two around 120 dollars. The food is excellent and worth it. Front desk Mike is great. Our waitress the first night, Betsy was great but the second night our waiter could not seem to multi task, but overall a place we always come back to when in town. Remember to call for reservations, even when not open hours, they always get back to you
