Only visited for the Bar to sit and unwind on a Saturday with friends to drink. The bar and reception is lovely and the staff are friendly and of course speak fluent english. We had a lovely relaxing day looking out on to the Bardufoss town.

Stayed: November 2017

Bardufoss is as far as I know one of the only hotels in Bardufoss. You have to drive quite a bit to the next hotel. Bardufoss is a small place with a military base, stunning views and a not-so-ok-hotel.

The hotel looks like it has been refurbished a couple of years. Looks like the floors, walls and interior has gotten a remake. Bathrooms and the outside looks quite dated, and the hallways smells funny. Does not look like they have cleaned the carpet in the halls since the 90's.

Breakfast is ok, with cold slices, bread and eggs and bacon. Kudos for serving bacon in a tray and not one slice per egg. Although it was overcooked and soggy. The hotel does not have room service, but is located near some "resturants" and pizza places. They do serve a "night meal", which is bread and slices of ham and cheese, with a warm soup. The soup looked horrible. When I was there they had american pancakes which was actually quite good.

All in all, it was an ok stay, but I do think the price is way yo high, at 990NOK per night per person in a one man room.

But hey, you don't really have a choice if you're coming to Bardufoss.

PS: WiFi sucked. Impossible to stream a movie.

It wasn't on my travel plans. I went too early out of the bus. Fortunately I decide to ask information in the reception of the hotel. Thanks to the kindness and sympathy of the receptionist I decide to stay overnight. The room is comfortable, nice and warm. The facilities of the evening soup, waffles and breakfast are great and tasty. The town hasn't much to see but has a nice trail into the woods with good views. I had an amazing day here.

OK hotel if you want to stay overnight near the airport. Had a quiet midweek night in a good bed. However, the hotel is overpriced. This is clearly visible in the very basic breakfast although bread and coffee met normal hotel standards. Nice sunrise view from breakfast room.

This hotel is ok for the price, it's newly furnished in a pretty nice way and the rooms and lobby has partly bin renovated but many parts of the hotel still looks old and worn and the rooms are quite small. The staff is friendly and the morning buffet is alright.
