Had to pay a visit to Falkland BC and needed a place to stay. The owners of this very comfortable, quaint motel was so pleasant and very accommodating after I unexpectedly needed to change the date of my stay. The motel was very easy to find and was in a convenient location in town that made it easy for us to get around to the events we were attending. The room provided us (two adults and two teenagers) with everything we needed which included clean, comfortable sleeping arrangements and a kitchenette. Check in was very quick as was check out. Thank you to the management of this great little motel. I'd definitely come back if I need a room in the area.

We traveled to Faukland and decided to stay at the Highland Motel. I called earlier to book the motel and Val was the most friendly lady I have spoken to. She made us feel welcome before we even arrived. She was even happy that we had our little dogs with us.
The motel is beautiful. It is so cute and functional. Val had our room cooled down nicely and it was very welcome with it being hot outside. There is a lovely picnic area on our side of the motel.
And the flowers and landscape are beautiful too.
We will be back!
Ps... go to The Rock Eatery for a meal. You will be amazed there!!

We been to this motel on and off for the last 12 years,It was a place to stay when we visit the city of Vernon. We are always drawn back to this Highland Motel in Falkland.Their rooms are clean,beds to us are comfortable and we were greeted with a warm welcome.At the back of the motel has a nice grass area with picnic tables,lawn chairs and a scenic back drop with mountain view.From that spot we saw a deer,a Marmot and a Quail bird...pretty cool,At night on a clear blue skies ...tons of stars in skies ,I felt like I was in a planetarium...very relaxing to me...All this is just steps away from your suite's door.Very near by this motel ,there is a small super market for beverage,snacks, other food items,camping and fishing supplies..etc.There is also a pub with patio and a cafe type patio restaurant across from this super market.Since I was into scenic outdoor drive ,Val the manager recommended me to drive to Pillar Lake where I saw families on their small boats and people fishing along the lake...a nice scenic drive indeed.When we want to go to Vernon ,the drive to Vernon for us was around 23-28 min drive each way depending on traffic...which is really nothing to us,since we are from Vancouver ,25 min only got us 8 km in Vancouver.All in all I highly recommend this motel to those who want a clean accommodation,pleasant and quiet surroundings.You get more value per dollar compare to big city motels and its not too far from a big city. Last and not the least,Val and her team were wonderful to us,they did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible.Thank you Val and your team,you guys made our stay as good as the last time we visit here.
