“Breathtaking. Take some hiking shoes and a picnic lunch. Spend the day”
Reviewed 10 March 2012

Amazing geography and nature lessons for young and old alike. Go into visitor center. Worth the visit with displays at the back and very helpful staff. Also super clean bathrooms which is essential. Cheap only $7 /car. The views are spectacular and bring food for a picnic

“Red Rock- a natural wonder!”
Reviewed 10 March 2012

We enjoyed the contrast of Red Rock and the strip. It offers many areas for hiking and tons of photo ops! A nice place to visit in the desert!

“Stunning!”
Reviewed 10 March 2012

This is a beautiful place. Such a stunning landscape for someone who lives on the east coast where everything is green and trees. Best for a leisurely drive - don't understand the people who gun it through the park; what's the point? There are plenty of places to stop and park and get out of your car for photo ops - some of our best photos were from here - and read informational signs that tell about wildlife and the land formations. This is a great place to spend some time just gazing at the massive formations and feeling the warm breeze. Very peaceful and wasn't too crowded when we went. There are some hiking trails with posted 'level of difficulty' signs which unfortunately we couldn't partake in because of my mother's bad leg. I imagine those lead to some pretty amazing sights too and you're probably more likely to see some wildlife rather than on the main road.

“Walking the Red Rock Canyon”
Reviewed 9 March 2012

The feel of the rocks crunching under your feet. The warm, dry air on your shoulders and face. It's easy to breathe and we just love collecting interesting rocks.

“Well Worth a Visit”
Reviewed 9 March 2012

The views are spectacular and there are numerous trails for walks/hikes ranging from a few hundred yards to many miles. We really enjoyed getting away from the artificialty of the Las Vegas scene and enjoying the peace, quiet and scenery.
