Brought the family to see this park. Lots of places to stop off and hike trails. The red rocks are striking to see and climb. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes, hiking shoes and water. The scenic tour by car is 13 miles long but the trails easily exceed that. Saw Rock climbers bring their gear to climb. Remember the rocks are sandstone. The scenic tour by car would make for a great bike ride. Everywhere you go you will be greeted by spectacular views. It is very quiet but be prepared that much of the park has no cell service. So download maps of the area prior. Overall a great place to visit to get away from the hustle of the Vegas Strip.

Rent a car and spend the day hiking, horseback riding, and taking in mother Earth. You won't regret it.

If you aren't into hiking into the wilderness this is an easy way to see beautiful rock from your car, just drive the loop road and stop if you feel like it.

30 min ride from Strip is Red Rock Canyon. $15 per car admission will get you to drive the 13 Miles of scenic one direction road. if you drive around slowly get out at most of the stops to take pictures, takes about 1 hour. Pull off points can get crowded with cars. Best to go early 8-10 AM with less people. There are hikers paths everywhere and plethora of rock climbers scaling vertical walls. Not as impressive as Sedona AZ but something to see that will not hurt you wallet as much as the casinos. It is Nature's Beauty in Desert.
