If you are looking for a spot close to the strip, that is reasonable and has acceptable amenities we would recommend this location. Our second stay here. We are a couple in our late 50's.
Shuttle service to the Strip was excellent. 5 to 10 minute ride. We liked the size of the resort and the fact that there are 5 separate pools with four buildings surrounding each pool.
Service was first rate. It is obvious the service team is working very hard at customer satisfaction. We rented a car and it is a short drive to VON's for groceries as we like breakfast and lunch in. We found the resort to be quiet and relaxing.
Brand new Club House. And older resort that has been upgraded.
We were pleased with what HI Club Vacations had to offer and would return.

Room tip: Would recommend staying away from building 1 or 2 given their close proximity to Koval Lane and traffic. Would try to stay on the south side of the pool, facing north towards the pools if possible. In the afternoon no on in a south facing suite is on their balcony because of the heat.

Booked as a part of a time-share promotion from Holiday Inn vacations.
3 nights 4 days in a 2 bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, balcony, in-suite laundry, living room.
The suite was very large and well furnished. Excellent location above the back pool (6 pools in total).
As others mentioned it is a block (Vegas block) off the strip and made it very quiet and removed from the Strip hussle and bussle.
The grocery store is more than 1 mile away so unfortunately you need a car or a cab to stock up for your stay.
The staff is very friendly and helpful though the NO maid service makes it a little inconvenient.
Considering there was no maid service my biggest concern was that someone entered our room (without permission) and removed an item from the kitchen (minor) but an invasion of privacy and safety.
Overall the resort was very comfortable, well stocked, & had many additional amenities that made it great for any needs.
The time-share like all of this kind was painful but the worst part was ruining our first full day by beginning at 8:30am when we were still a little jet-lagged from the flight.
The room was no charge aftyer attending the 3 hour presentation so it was worth it in the end.

Room tip: We stayed in the rear-most building and it was very quiet. Front buildings are closer to the main pool and facilities.

We spent 5 nights in late April, 2012, in preference to a hotel. The site is one block behind the Venetian and the location is great. On arrival (and departure) we, and luggage, were taken to the apartment on a buggy and the cases were put in the apartment for us. We booked a 2 king size bedroom apartment through Expedia for the 2 of us and it was everything we expected and more . The beds were excellent and the apartment was serviced each day. The staff are great, the onsite buggies and transport onto and back from the strip all brilliant. We used the small onsite shop and had free use of two Apple computers and printer in an area just off the main reception. Information and help was readily available. We didn't use the pool or jacuzzi but others did, as well as the outdoor barbecue and eating area in an area sheltered from the sun.

I would most certainly book an apartment here again in preference to a strip hotel.

This was my first time ever to Vegas and I really liked this resort. The check in was super easy and they put us in a unit close to the front as requested. We had a 2 bedroom unit and when I asked for an "updated" unit, they said they are ALL updated now. The resort is very large so if you are planning on going to the strip a lot - definately request a room close to the front. I had a conference at MGM so it was a little bit of a pain to get there in the morning since there was no shuttle until 10am so I had to take a cab (about $10 each way). The shuttle was very nice but wish it had more stops (goes ever other hour to Venitian and New York New York and every hour to Bally's.) We walked up through Imperial a few times and it is a little far but not too bad. It was nice to come back after a long day and relax in a nice big living room. Both bedrooms had nice flat screen tv's and it was decorated very nice. We sat by the pool one afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all (there are 5 pools so only a few people at each pool). Staff was very accomodating and friendly. If you are going for a weekend and want to enjoy the strip - i would stay ON the strip but if you are going for a more relaxing getaway and don't mind walking or taking cabs, this is a great place to stay.

Room tip: Ask to be close to clubhouse around the main pool.

We wanted somewhere off the strip away from the noise. This was perfect being about a block away from the strip. Their free shuttle service to the strip and back (Ballys, Venetian, New York) was great for getting around. Check in was fairly quick. Room was very nice and the kitchen had all the necessities. Everything was very clean and the bed was fairly comfortable...we did not have any problems sleeping. We had a washer/dryer which helped with packing since we only brought one carry on suitcase each. The pools were great! The general store was very overpriced, but then you pay for the convenience of not having to go anywhere else for groceries. Should have checked Walgreens first...could have bought breakfast foods there for much less. The bar and the grille were both very good. Service was friendly and fast. Would definitely go back to this resort again.
