I have been in the casino before, stayed at Bally's...connected...but never stayed at the Paris. Interesting, pricing seems to have come down for this property over the last year. But, we were nicely surprised.
Upgrade to a "Red Room", no charge, very nice. Just as good as some other high end places. 400 square feet, but felt spacious. Nice bed, furniture, seemed pretty new.
Staff pleasant...Casino staff great, smiling, helpful, all around just great. Very clean, nice restaurants. Will be back...glad we tried it out. 1/2 the price of the Bellagio, just across ,the street....

Room Tip: Ask for an upgrade....wasn't tough to get on the nights we stayed.

The staff at this hotel was rude to say the least. Room was dirty, sheets weren't clean. Won't stay here again.

This is my first time staying at the Paris. It was wonderful. Check in was smooth and friendly. I had a comped Red Room Luxury for 5 nights. The room was beautiful. I had a partial view of the Bellagios fountains. The first night my televiaoin did not work. I called housekeeping and they sent a mantainence person up right away even though it was 11:00pm. I had a pink fuzzy picture and sound. He said that it would be replaced first thing in the morning. And it was. After the man left a few minutes later the front diesk called and offered me a 50$ dining credit for my inconvienence. We dined at the Cafe St Louis and the Mon AMi Gambi. Both were excellent. The pizza place was good also for a quick bite. The casino was kind of small. But we had some luck. I will definatley stay here again.

For those coming to Vegas for the first time and not wanting to spend too much...this hotel is great. Located in the middle of the strip among high priced hotels...this is the best bang for your money.

The buffet on the first floor is pretty good too

Arrived at the hotel & had an issue checking in. The lady who helped us at the desk was extremely rude. We were using a friend's discount (friend was flying in early the next morning) & that friend had called weeks ago to switch it over to our name. The rude employee said there was no record of that change. Had to get out of line & call our friend back home (3 hr time difference & almost midnight there) so she could notify the hotel. Luckily the second lady we spoke with, Marie, was much kinder. Thank goodness this was the the worst of the situations for our time spent on vacation. Here are some pro & con breakdowns...

PROS:
- Great location on the strip
- Seems to be an older group who vacations here (good because we came during a popular spring break week & we did not want to deal with the crazy college kids)
- Quiet rooms
- Very large bathrooms with a large shower & tub
- Comfortable bed
- Nice pool area

CONS
- The older (non red rooms) really need updating
- If you don't have a strip view room, your view is horrible
- The French accent is charming for those who have it naturally. I think most of the employees are forced to have one & if it is not natural, it is ridiculously annoying
- They do not charge a resort fee, but they make up for that for totally screwing guests on the daily internet fee. And the speed is very slow!
- Lack of tv channels

It was an okay stay, but will not be staying there again.

Hotel itself is getting a little tired around the edges.Hotel rooms look dated they need modernising.I know the red rooms ate modern but why pay more per night for an updated room?? Should they all not be updated?? Overall hotel was good. The walkway through hotel down cobble streets and restaurants and shops was really authentic.Pleased with hotel and would recommend as its central strip opposite Bellagio fountains.

Stayed here for 3 nights. For a 12+ year old hotel, it somehow felt much older, and it had nothing to do with the period furnishings, most of which were fine. Old clunky TV's, lousy plumbing and a property-wide lack of personal details left us seeking out other properties in case we return to LV.

We personally experienced and witnessed other guests having a lackluster level of customer service from the staff.

The pool area is decent is you have kids or just want to hang out, but nothing really in the way of amenities.

The one main positive is the central location on the strip, which made it easy to roam.
