This time share resort is well off the strip. Must take your own car or public transportation.
When we first checked in with the Concierge, she pushed the time share sell tour. We refuse since we already own but traded to come here. She was very cold after we said no thanks. Time share sales first, Resort second.
Our first room had dirty/sticky carpet.
Second room was renovated and much nicer. Nice pool area, needs a lot more servers. One per day doesn't cut it. Bar/Restaurant is just ok.
Room was just ok in size. Tight kitchen but usable. We tried to talk to the housekeeping staff but they didn't speak English (so they say)! That ticked us off. They subcontract out and they don't care about the guests since they are not resort staff.
Very near the airport, lots of jet noise until 9 or 10 each night. The grounds crew starts blowing leaves and grass about 7:45am! Don't plan on sleeping in. Once again, probably subcontracted.
We tried to get some vending items from the ice/vending room, nope! Only a nice machine. Must have used too much electricity to provide a vending machine on each floor....
Over all, if you have a car and kids, nice place to stay. If you want to go to the strip each night, count on a taxi ride ($20) or a city bus with a transfer. Not my cup of tea.
The large pool was nice, clean, well kept.
Most of the resort staff is there to funnel people thru the sales pitch for time shares and cares very little about guest that have already bought there or elsewhere. The sales people walk past you so fast they almost knocked us over in the hallways.
One good thing is the grocery store is across the street and just a 5 minute walk! They said there was a guest convenience center on site but we never found it while searching for water and drinks for our room all week.
We stayed in a two bed room lock out. It had plenty of room. Cancun is way South on the Strip, but right off from the freeway exit. Plenty of free parking. A very lovely pool. The facilities were fresh and clean.
