My wife and I have gone to Las Vegas many times and have stayed at a lot of places(strip nd downtown), and feel the Red Rock a "great experience". They have great restaurants, a very nice bowling alley, and a very nice bunch of people working there. We liked the diversity of the slots, and I liked the table games. The pool was not open while we were there, but you could tell it was wonderful.

Room Tip: We were on the ninth floor, and it was very quiet.

Sure, the Red Rock is a good 20-minute cab ride away from the strip, but the hotel complex has everything you want, so you can easily chill out here for a week without going to the strip.

The hotel complex is huge. There's a large food court (Fatburger!), a really nice bowling alley and a massive movie theatre. On top of that, you have several great restaurants and two great nightclubs...and gambling, so you can really just stay at the hotel for quite a while and have a great time. The cafe that is open all day serves a superb breakfast. It's pricey, but the food is truly excellent.

The pool area is beautiful (as are the waitresses!) with nice landscaping and lots of sunbeds.

The rooms are superb. Really spaciuos and just very comfortable with a great couch and super comfy beds. The bathroom is huge - lots of space for toiletries and a large separate shower area.

As the hotel is so huge, there's quite a bit of walking to be done to get to places, but at least you burn some of those calories, right? This reminds me that the hotel also features and excellent gym with lots of cardiovascular machines and a good set of weights.

Sure, the Red Rock is a long way from the strip, but there's plenty of action at the resort, and there is a courtesy shuttle going to the strip and back quite often, so getting around is not a problem either.

Service has always been impeccable at the hotel and friendly. I will definitely keep coming back to the Red Rock.

We have been to Vegas over 20 times in the past 8 years and are tired of the hassle of the strip. We have stayed at Green Valley and loved it there and thought we would try Red Rock. It was a great experience and the addition of The Yard is A+. The various restaurants were wonderful and being able to access the sports book without an hour long line was GREAT. I would highly recommend Red Rock.

I stayed at this hotel in mid-March with my husband and a friend of the family. The guys spent the days golfing nearby and I stayed out at the really awesome pool. The hotel was very clean, our room was roomy and really very nice. All of the employees were great and very helpful with directions and knowledgeable about the hotel's amenities and options. They were very accomodating of my need for a place to store my insulin and brought me an additional mini-fridge since the one in the room is weight sensored (and will charge you if anything is removed or added).

We ate at T-Bones one night and it is definitely worth it! Our steaks were prepared perfectly and we each ordered one side and just shared family-style. Our waiter was attentive and a lot of fun. The hotel has many choices for quick food in the food court and even has 2 Starbuck's locations!

We tried to go bowling on Wednesday night, but they were closed for league which was a bummer. My husband and his friend whet the following afternoon and had fun though.

The shuttle service to and from the strip is great! Comfortable bus, not a long ride and super convenient pick-up / drop-off location and time. It's a really great option if you want to hit the strip and do a little drinking and not have to worry about how to get back to your hotel safely.

All in all we were very happy with this hotel and will definitely return. Next time I will be trying out the spa services!

We booked this hotel because we attended a surprise party held that evening on the property. I booked a standard room and it was everything but standard. The room had highend furnishing, a beautiful bathroom and nice view of the mountains. The room was also larger than most hotel rooms and we paid under $150 for a one night stay on a Saturday. I also had the opportunity to visit friends staying in the 360 suite which was of course amazing! The outside patio in the ridiculously large suite was insane (pool sized hot tub and rotating couch!).

After finally staying at Red Rock Resort I can only say that the rooms are as plush as those at the best resorts on the strip. The room was almost identical as the one I had at Wynn Resort. The breakfast buffet is very good but wish they would bring back the Prime Rib at dinner. The Grand Cafe's new menu has eliminated some of our favorites but the food is still good and portions large. Love the baked goods.

Their casino has a good variety of slot games and plenty of table games. The poker room offers limit and no limit holdem and Omaha. The bad beat is a good promo too.
