I was comped 3 nights in a Palace Tower premium room, a room that I've had before, and one that I like a lot. First, I'm not a huge fan of Caesars Palace, simply because it's too big and spread out. The rooms are good, plenty of restaurants and shops, but the property is just massive. I checked in at about 2pm, I was waiting in line (Platinum check in) when an employee directed my party and a few others to follow her around the corner for a faster check in. We went to the old Diamond check in, which is now Augustus and Octavius tower check in. The guy checking me in told me he could put me in the brand new Octavius tower if I wanted. I had booked a non smoking room, but for whatever reason he was trying to push me into a smoking room on a smoking floor, not sure why he was trying to do that. After a few calls he told me that I'm lucky, and he was able to get me a great room in the new tower (non smoking), and that I'm gonna love it.

Benefits of the new tower as told to me by the employee at check in:
- Much larger rooms
- Private hotel feel
- Caesars way to cater to the Mandarin and Four Season elite crowd.

Actual benefits of the room
- Private entrance with it's own valet area
- HDTV, with ipad/ipod hookup to display on the tv, clock radio with ipod connectivity

The room was about the same size if not smaller than the Palace Tower Premium room I've had before. You are probably the furthest set of rooms away from the action in the entire property. The beds were very tall and on the firm side, with great linens. The beds had LED lights for reading right next to them. The bathroom was large, and included a double granite vanity, jacuzzi tub, different shower area and a room for the toilet. The HDTV was nice, and i'm sure the ipod/ipad connectivity would be useful for some, but for me, I just hooked my ipad up, saw that it worked pretty easy, but didn't come to Vegas to watch a movie.

I didn't get that "small hotel feel", or the Mandarin/Four Seasons feel either. IMHO this was a Palace Tower room. It's really nice, but nothing to set Caesars ahead of other top properties or towers. I still wouldn't even come close to comparing it to the Wynn or Encore. I haven't stayed at Aria, so I can't compare that. If I was booked into the Palace Tower Premium room again, I would probably stay there vs the upgrade to Octavius. It is brand new, so I'll give the soft product of the "new private hotel" time to mature.

Room Tip: For upgrades, try the $20 sandwich at check in. Google it if you are not familiar.

This hotel, although slightly more expensive is the perfect Las Vegas spot. Over the top massive resort, solid gambling and helpful/friendly staff. Location right in the middle of the action.
Great nightclub, great sportsbook and good poker room.
Was brought here for my Bachelors 2 years ago and now with my wife. Not once was I disappointed.
If you frequent Las Vegas you would know that it is the place that it is all about.

Hotel and hotel employees were great! I had reserved a room in the Forum tower, but was upgraded at check-in to the Palace tower, which meant a bigger room with a jacuzzi tub. The room also had a great view of the New Year's fireworks show on the strip. We enjoyed walking around the Vegas strip and even had time to see the pool (heated to 82 degrees). The only complaints are that the coffee in the room was $12 and they required guests to purchase a day pass for access to the spa (usually guests have free access, but this was probably due to the holiday period). Great location, rooms, and service.

This was my first time to Vegas so I was in shock to begin with. Being dazzled by all the lights and noise is probably making my review a little more positive. But my experience was great.

I opted to self park. This means that in order to reach hotel registration you have to walk through the entire casino. I figured that would be the case. No big deal, get the lay of the land inside Caesar's. Entry was quick and easy. They said the upgraded me and my co-worker and were nice enough to put us in rooms that were across the hall from each other. The rooms were very nice, I had a view of the roof and a peak at the strip. I was on the 5th floor and it wasn't bad. The room was clean, had a cool motorized curtain, TV in the bathroom, and a phone next to the toilet. The shower was massive but the water pressure was a little low coming out of the shower head. Bed was comfy and warm. I would stay here again!

Room Tip: Deluxe room or "D grade" was the type of room I was in. Not sure where this is on the sca...

Stayed 4 nights during the holiday and were the first occupants of this room in the new tower. The room was beautiful, spacious, the bed comfortable, the linens luxurious, and everything was in working order. The staff was friendly. It's a good "stretch of the legs" to the casino, but I only mention that to anyone who has difficulty walking. (When in Vegas, I expect to do a lot of walking ;) .

Stayed 10 days December over christmas in Palace Tower 9th floor and what can I say, Superb room and beautiful bathroom with twin basins, large shower, and lovely Jacuzzi. View overlooking swimming pool, hotel was very busy over the christmas holiday. The slot machines were not very friendly, however your only supposed to enjoy them not win ( If Only ). The hotel is so large it is very easy to get lost, but, many signposts showing the way and it adds to the fun finding your bearings in such beautiful surroundings. The Buffet offer is very good value if you have a big appetite (eat as much as you want ), however there are plenty of individual restraunts or snacks within the hotel if not so hungry. One tip is DO NOT buy a drink from the bar, ( just sit at a slot machine and play for a few cents and get a drink from waitress ( 1 dollar tip ) a bottle of beer at the bar was 7 dollars. Swimming pools are beautiful and heated. Beds very comfortable and rooms cleaned every day. ( Leave a couple of dollars tip for cleaner each day to get clean towels and superb service.) All the hotels on the strip are massive and have their own theme, i.e. the venetian has a canal running through it with Gondolier rides, the Paris is built around the Eiffel tower and turns night into day if you enter at night ( ceiling painted with clouds and blue sky ). Bellagio hotel has the most superb Fountain show outside every 30 mins. Many shows to see, tickets can be bought at discount from Booths called TIX for Show every day. Downside of the strip is the Mant homeless people begging in the streeet, plainly you cannot give to all and it would seem that the vast mojority are looking for a handout to purchase either Drugs or Booze, best to walk past. Never have I seen such clean toilets in all hotels, puts England to shame. People very polite and friendly. Be prepared to do plenty of walking if you want to see all the hotels in the strip. Great time and will be back.

Room Tip: Be polite and offer a 20 Dollar tip folded to get the best room. Stay away from Roman Tower. Palace...

Great hotel. Outstanding service. NO resort fees . I give this hotel an "A" Nice big rooms. Bed was comfy , big bathroom, flat screen TV. Also the room was clean. Casino was good. Overall a good trip. Well worth the price. The only down side which was not a deal breaker is the room I had was attached to another with those connecting door. I didn't like that but, wasn't a big deal because the people in the next room wasen't really loud. Also not a big deal because there is an abundance of buffets in las vegas , is that the Caesars buffet was closed due to renovations. i was kinda bummed about that ,but I know in the long run its going to be really good by the time its done.
