With all the talk about bed bugs, upon arrival to Caesars Palace, we were given a room in the Augustus Towers. We checked the room and beds for bed bugs, and it looked to be very clean, and it was. Only report here is no Bed Bugs (in our room) and great service. Will return.

We stayed at Caesar's Palace for my 50th birthday in October 2010, it was my 5th time to Vegas we had previously stayed at The Venetian, Flamingos, and Harrah’s.

Check in was a breeze but I wanted an upgrade to a better tower and the $20 trick did not work, but we did get a very nice room in Forum towers over looking the strip. The room was kept very clean had a coffee maker but no coffee included :(

I really enjoyed our trip but would I stay at Caesars again probably not.

Cons
1. Very smoky (and I smoke)
2. Very expensive
3. Slots and video poker machines very tight
4. Too large everything a very far walk

Pro's
1. Location very convenient
2. Aesthetically appealing
3. The pool area very, very, nice
4. The Qua Spa is the best

Over a period of 5hours of trying to check into a hotel room i reserved and paid for a month in advance, Caesars Palace was giving us the run around as to why our room was not ready and that it'd be one more hour & one more hour & yet one more hour. Seriously?!?!? The check-in process was a nightmare.

They tried to 'upgrade' us to a room at Planet Hollywood, which i declined b/c i wanted to stay at Caesar's and i paid for a 'Caesars' not 'Planet Hollywood' hotel room. It seems their waiting game is a ploy where they either overbook with intention of making a profit on guests that go to 'upgraded' Planet Hollywood hotels, or to keep you waiting so you spend $$$ in their casino gambling, or at their restaurants & shops.

The experience was a real shame and really shined a negative light on Caesars Palace. I would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!!

p.s. when we finally got a room after 5.5hrs the bathroom had not been cleaned; their were little black hairs in the tub & on the towels, and who knows what else was in the room. An overall bad experience : (

This will be a short and sweet review.

Stayed here in November 2009 for my 25th birthday! -- Picked Caesars Palace because it looked great, and we got a killer deal!

The hotel is GORGEOUS! The rooms are fantastic. Modern, Clean and Full of amentities.
The location is fantastic and the staff are more than helpful.

The food in the hotel (as well as on the strip) are MORE than up to par and the nightlife - in and out of the hotel - are FUN!!!

I recommend this hotel to EVERYONE - as it suits the needs of any type of traveller.

Note: The amentities in the room (ie: digital camera, and other things available you can purchase) are SENSORED! Each time you move them from the spot they originated from, the item is then charged to your room. Once put back on the spot - it's credited back. As long as everything is still in the room when you leave - you're not charged - but we had ONE HECK of a field day looking at our BILL during checkout. Just an fyi....

We went to Vegas for a week long stay. Our daughter was getting married at a house they had rented so we along with friends and family stayed on the strip. We had the spa booked for six the day of the wedding along with salon appointments and then everyone coming up to our room to get ready before catching a limo to the wedding. When we checked in we asked for an upgrade from a forum room to the augustus towers and were told not to unpack that we would be upgraded the next day. So we spent the night in our room which was nice but not overly clean (had part of a candy stuck to the bathroom floor that stayed there for the entire week). Checked at noon and were told to come back at three, checked at three and were told to come back at six. Told at six there was no possible way that we could get an upgrade and that we should go back to our original room. Very frustrating and a wasted day as we were told to be prompt on checking on our room or else it could be given away. I will say that the spa is the best I have been at.

Nov 8-12. Hotel is nice. But with hiding cost. At $250per night. NO coffee maker and NO frig in room. Then internet $15/day,$25 to use the gym. I told them “You’ve got to be kidding. I get more from my stay at a Hampton Inn”.

Check -in was excellent- in our room by 1:00. Asked for upgrade to the Augustus Tower, $56.00 extra, per day, room adequate, only one queen bed, refrigerator stuffed with their very expensive items, no room to stash even the smallest bottle of wine or chill a candy bar. Cleaning personnel did an exceptional job, one of the cleanest hotels we've stayed in. Lago buffet was expensive, had one breakfast there, couldn't find any butter, food was just OK, staff at the gate were unfriendly and a bit rude, (this was our only bad staff experience, everyone else was professional and nice). Pool area was lovely, pool clean and swimmable, staff there was excellent, exceptional attention and service by Maria, always prompt, smiling and friendly! Oh, btw, if you want coffee in your room, bring your own K cups. The Keurig pot is there, but it's empty!! (No cups, either...) We had a nice time, but went to the Flamingo to play the slots, we were there last year, and plan to go there next time we return.
