I really didn't like my stay at the Fremont hotel. The hotel is dated, even if the rooms are renovated. No free wifi. The hotel is really far from the strip. The hotel is located in direct on Fremont street . It was very noizy . Convenient if you like that street and it's tacky ambiance . I find that street the be the worst of Las Vegas , terribly trashy. Will never go back.

Older hotel, in need of some remodeling for sure. (In the casino as well as the rooms)
Check in experience was poor for sure, waited forever while every man and they're dog cut in front of us. Desk staff were not friendly or helpful.
Room was old, was not very clean, carpet was fraying, pubes in the bed sheets, had to remake the beds as the bottom sheet only came to my knees.
Tried getting some McDonald's in the morning and received the worst service ever, I ended up walking away.
Fremont street is close by which is nice, but it'd be worth double to stay anywhere else.

I have stayed here many times. Location is great. Right on Fremont St. Room nicely decorated, comfortable beds. The only complaints are the elevators to parking garage very slow and the tv reception was bad.

Room Tip: Go for room on South Tower dont' have to walk through casino.

We stayed here for 3 nights. We arrived and Rommy at the front desk checked us in. Very pleasant check in with her as she was very helpful. They give you a coupon book at check in that you may use at restaurants and the casino. Rooms seemed to be renovated. Cleaning service was great. We got what we needed every time we asked for it. Iron was horrible and cheap! I couldn't figure out the settings and burned my clothes. Pool and fitness gym were never visited since both are run down. Overall the stay was satisfying. Too far from strip but right in front of freemont street. Never had a problem with noisy neighbors. Great hotel for the price.

We stayed here from 01/01/2015 until 07/01/2015 the room we had was a newly renovated one with lovely comfortable beds and nice shower room. The room was cleaned daily and 2 bottle s of water left everyday as part of the 12 dollars resort fee you are charged a day with free wifi in the fee of course. Had a really good stay but walking to & from the room to the car park you had to go through the smokey casino & they try & mask the smell of smoke with some sort of air freshers that make it smell just as bad but this & the extremely slow checkin are my main complaints about this hotel but overal a most pleasant stay would definitely recommend as it was very reasonably priced
