35. Favorite Casino? Gold Coast
36. Why is the casino you selected above one of your favorites? my family has been coming from new york to the gold coast for 27+ years and we love the way they treat us and how laid back it is when you just want to get away from the busyness of vegas

43. Did you experience any issue, concern or perhaps something extraordinarily pleasant on your latest visit to the Gold Coast? Y - Yes
44. Please describe the circumstances: on our last day there the slot host said he didnt want us to leave and gave us another free night and then dinner at the cortez room
45. Was the issue resolved to your satisfaction? Y - Yes

The Gold Coast is a cool place to stay if you are looking for an off-strip but not too far out of the way location. It is an older property that has seen some nice upgrades including the guest rooms. One high point of our stay was on the check in, Jane who works at the guest registration desk was very nice and accommodating. We will stay there again…

You can't go wrong staying, eating, gambling, etc at the Gold Coast. You won't be nailed with the Strip prices for accommodations, food or drink. The Gold Coast has a shuttle bus that will take you to other Casinos such as the Orleans, Suncoast and Sam's Town. The rooms are VERY nice, the location is fabulous (across the street from the Palms) and ALL the restaurants are better than good! The casino is a "local" favorite and the valet service at the Gold Coast is second to none. We enjoy their El Cortez room as a first rate dining establishment without the outlandish cost of a similar top shelf Strip restuarant. You can't go wrong - visit the Gold Coast to stay, play and enjoy Vegas to the max.

I have stayed at the Gold Coast twice (each time for only a night each) but I have to say I will continue to recommend this place for those wanting to go to Vegas but not pay on the Strip hotel prices. The premium room is super affordable, clean and modern. It's a great room for the price you pay and it's only a hop, skip and jump away from the Strip. Plus it's a casino hotel so you dont have to travel far to gamble.

Vegas is always where we go to meet up with family from all over the US. Every time we are in town the Gold Coast restaurant "The Cortez Room" is the only choice for our family dinners. We can be confident that we will receive a great meal, impeccable service at a good value. We have been doing this since 1987 and will continue to do so. We love the Gold Coast and Cortez room.

Took the wife for a weekend out. Got a great rate through the Gold Coast's website and it was right down the road so I was familiar with the property. We got a free upgrade to their premium rooms at check-in, the supervisor named Steven was very polite and when he heard we were celebrating our anniversary he offered to give us a nicer room. I was a little disappointed that they charged for wi-fi but that seems to be a trend in Vegas, I blame the city not the hotel. Overall we were pleasantly surprised, the room was nicer then we were expecting.

FYI - I think Ping Pang Pong's has some of the best Chinese food in the city.

Room Tip: If you're there for a special event let the clerk know. Otherwise you should definately spring f...
