We just got home from the HRH in Vegas. We had a blast. It was a great vegas experience the staff was very helpful with our every whim we loved it

Room Tip: Because of a glitch and them not having a King room in the mountain view rood we were upgraded (for free) to a room on the 14th floor of the HRH tower overlooking the pool and a great view of the strip skyline.

As usual the Hard Rock delivered an AWESOME time. Motley Crue did as well. DOn't be fooled becasue tey don't sit riht on the Strip. If your in Vegas and not staying at and The Hard Rock Hotel you don't realize what you are missing...Great rooms, awesome and friendly staff (especially at the Registration Desk and Housekeeping), incredible food, and one the coolest Casinos in Vegas. Where else can you party like a rock star and be treated like one as well. Plus, the beds are like sleeping in heaven. One really cool touch, we had a vintage photo of the Monkees and Jack Nicholson and other photo of Fiona Apple over looking our beds, a Kurt Cobain portrait in the entry way. The bathroom mirrors were sick with lights embedded into them!

You will want to see a show at The Joint and eat at Lucky's after the show. The food and service are outstanding. We went back to our room after the Motely Crue show to unwind after screaming our heads off for two hours and then went down to Lucky's and didn't even have to wait to be seated. Try the waffles with fresh strawberries and cream. Best my wife and daughter ever had, period. I just loved the spicy Bloody Mary I got to go with my country fried steak and eggs.

We found that Pink Taco has the most mouthwatering taquitos that are filled with potatoes and even better - deliciousness. My 17 yr old. daughter has literally been "dreaming" about them for over a year now since the last time we visited. Be sure and get a side of Guacamole for their fresh cooked corn chips. Just the perfect amount of garlic. The Margarita's are just the tip of the iceberg...loved the Peach ones the best.

Overall, we had one of the best times we have ever had and can't wait to go back. 2 for 2! Two great shows and two incredible weekends.

Room Tip: Book a higher floor in the Casino Tower with a pool view. Balcony style doors look onto the strip and the outrageously hot "REHAB" pools. Request 7th floor or higher if you want to be blown way by all of the Vegas lights at night.

Just returned from a week at the Hard Rock and overall would rate this as a resort I would go back to. The resort is very large (1700 rooms ) and at first is intimidating. However within a short time you figure out the grid system design and can roam the large resort very easily.
Resort has 15 pools and even though the resort was full did not have issues getting lounge chairs pool side
Too many restaurants and bars to count!!! Food was decent with Italian, Toro steak house, and pizza parlor the best of the places we ate. Don't miss the ice cream parlor for treats
The resort has a great family area and activities (water slides, mini golf, arcade and more)

Resort rooms are very modern, large and have all the amenities you want (comfy bed, jacuzzi, double shower, etc) this is the standard room not an upgraded one!
Has a large beach area but water can be rough (riptide warnings posted) they do have lifeguards on beach
Golf course, practice area are in great condition and the Nicklaus designed course is a good test
Casino is very large
Also some good stores on the premises with name brands and reasonable prices
Overall beach/rough water the only real downside but they are more than made up for with the quality of everything else
Would recommend a look at this resort if in the Punta Cana area (this was our 5th time and 4th resort in the area)

Room Tip: The buildings are broken into blue section (near beach) and red section (near lobby) If you are there for beach ask for blue section. Restaurants are pretty well split between beach and lobby areas

We love staying at the Hard Rock Hotel. It is just a fun place to stay for young and not-so-old people. The rooms are spectacular and very comfortable. Love the decor. We always ask for a room high up so that we can be sure to get a great view of Las Vegas, and we have never been disappointed. Even though we live in Las Vegas, we try to stay at the Hard Rock whenever we can--at least twice a year.

Was in Las Vegas mid-February on a Groupon for the Hard Rock Hotel. It was a decent hotel with a definite "rock" vibe. Motley Crue were in residency at the time, so it may have seemed more like that than normal, but all the staff and dealers seemed relatively young with a more laid-back rocker style.

We ate at Pink Taco - was decent, nothing overly special, but good food & drinks, the best food we ate at the hotel was probably at the 24 hour place, just above the 'centre bar', in fact that's where all the hotel's room service comes from as well. It's bigger than you think and they get you in and out in decent time and with a friendly attitude...no b.s.

Once we finally got to our room, which was in Paradise Tower w/pool view, it was pretty big with a nice bathroom with separate shower/toilet. The only downside to the bathroom is the lighting and I find a lot of hotels screw this up - better lighting, please!! The black floor, black sinks and dark everything makes it cool, but at least give people (particularly women, who need decent lighting for make-up) the choice of brighter lighting!!! I beg you.

Otherwise great room, NO BED BUGS, super-comfy beds you really sink into...which is usually the case after a night in Vegas;) Oh, btw, DO NOT even think about touching any of the 'mini-bar' items or anything in the fridge. The moment you pick it up, you're room is charged!! We knew this, so didn't get screwed, but I could see it happening!

Overall the hotel was good enough. I likely wouldn't choose to stay here again, mainly on the basis that it's off the strip and about a 30 minute walk or $15 cab ride either way. On the other hand, if that doesn't matter to you and especially if you're seeing a show at The Joint, it's a decent place at a decent rate.
