“Very Accommodating!”
Reviewed 9 March 2012

Stayed three nights in the hotel and enjoyed it. Room was very clean, everything worked, the beds were extremely comfortable. Checkout time is 12 noon and we needed a place to store our luggage before leaving for the airport. We asked a manager if they had such a place and he said, "no but ill be glad to extend your stay an additional 3 hours to give you more time", that's good service.

Just want to let you know that this place really knows how to treat their visitors. Excellent, love staying here with husband. The staff is great and service is out of this world. I like the fact that everyone who works for the Orleans, has take charge abilities and actually gets things done. Very, very happy.

Thank you again

I mention this place to everyone to stay at the Orleans!!!!! They will be very happy.

We have been visiting Las Vegas every year since 2001 and have always had a great time at the Orleans. The staff is always friendly and willing to take the extra time to resolve any questions we have had. We have visited other casinos while in Vegas but keep coming back here. The buffet is always great. The casino is kept clean, has good lighting with less smoke than most and nice music.

We drove from LA to Vegas and checked in a day early, we spent a total of 4 days at the Orleans. The room was at the end of the corridor and very big (we could run around in it), the bathroom was excellent too. It was a non-smoking room on the 11th floor. I think it was $130 for the 4 nights (bargain!). We had a few problems with the front-desk service, they wrote the wrong number down on our key and we had to go back down again after disturbing another guest, additionally the cleaners changed the bedding and by mistake took my PJ's with the sheets, I never saw them again and the front-desk were unhelpful in this regard.

We found that the casino itself stank. The bathrooms were open plan and had aircon that blew the smell into the main areas, mixed with smoke and their deodorizer, created a smell in certain sections that wrinkled our noses. It was their 15th anniversary so the restaurants all had specials. We had some great steaks and the buffet provided good value at lunch times.

When we weren't out exploring Hoover Dam, Red Rock, the Strip and other sights, the casino did provide hours of endless fun, we gambled lots, played live poker and bowled. We won lots in the beginning but lost that and more late into the evenings. It's all part and parcel of Vegas though.

The theme of the Casino is a bit tired, but offers something different compared to the rest of the Strip, we used it as a base to explore, and they do offer a shuttle to the Strip every half hour which we used the one evening.

Glad we stayed here, it served it's purpose. In the unlikely event that I found myself in Vegas again for a holiday, we would try some place different, although that's just me.

We're repeat clients. Love this property. The room rates are reasonable. Plenty of food options - from buffets, a food court. specialty coffee cafe, lounge, bars and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Their room cleaning staff does a great job. And most importantly there is a wide variety of slots!

I was there for a conference with my job; hotel was off the strip $6.00 for a shuttle so that wasn't bad. Rooms were dirt cheap in my opinion; costs me and my wife $150 for 3 nights. Hotel staff was nice and we had no problems in that regard the entire trip.
Had a large room but it smelled of some powerful deodorizer that didn't go away for a couple days. Room was large but kind of dated. No free wifi which sucked!
Casino WAAAAAAY to much smoke! You would think today that places would recognize how unhealthy and unpopular smoke is in an environment. The smoke was my main complaint. Saw housekeeping everyday unfortunately they must have never seen us since no one ever came and cleaned our room the entire time! Wasn't a big deal; I just robbed towels from their cart in the hall. I liked the smallness of the casino, tons of slots, plenty of restaurants and all were good quality, had a food court, liquor store, large convenience store inside. This place has a 70 count 'em 70 lane bowling alley above the casino! That's huge! Plus they had a huge 18 theater cinema complex and an arena for stuff like soccer, sports, etc.

Just came back from business conference at the Orleans. While the room were cheap, it reflected the overall experience. I guess I may be spoiled by the strip where I ended up spending most of my time via taxi back and forth. The air quality in the casino and rooms is very bad. Very smoky and poor ventilation. Showers were often cold. Thet do offer a free shuttle to the strip every half hour but the one time I used it, there were a couple of homeless people on the shuttle asking for money, not good! This place may be ok as a cheap solution for cheerleading competitions, etc. but not as a business conference.
