“The spa is wonderful!”
Reviewed 8 March 2012

My husband and I stayed at Aria March 1-4. I agree with other reviewers: friendly staff, smaller rooms than expected, but nice. Location is great for access to The Strip. The spa is very nice! Like everything else here, it was huge with nice amenities: water, tea, juice, nuts, fruit, etc. I had a hot-stone massage with a green tea eye treatment. Wonderful, relaxing experience. Look forward to returning.

We stayed during February 2012. Nice room with fantastic bed. Had nice view of the mountains. Slept like a baby. Bath with large shower and tub. Nice pool, although we didnt swim. Did not try any restaurants but they always seemed full.

First off, best looking hotel I have ever been in, and I have been in 100's of them. Must have cost billions to build it. And clean as a whistle, yet you never see anyone cleaning the casino and lobby? Even at 3AM.... Very strange. The staff here are oustanding, from the front desk, valet, maids, and wait staff. Foods is terrific, a wee bit pricey but very good, and lots of it, we tried the Lemograss tasting menu with the wine and cocktail accompaniment and it was actually too much food too east. They could cut the entre portion in HALF and 99% of the diners would still be very happy. Skybox great for a game, and the food's excellent. Gigantic clubhouse sandwich - might be 2 ft long - $14....... also try the onion rings. Did not do the buffet but heard it was great too. We went to the Cafe Amero? might have the last name wrong, but the food and service were great there too, go before 10 otherwise it lines up. We booked KIng city view room, and were travllling to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Without asking they upgraded us to a Sky Suite - must have been at least 1000 sf - furnished like something in a movie, it was awesome. The major hotels in vegas are all pretty nice,. NYNY is cheap and dirty, Bellagio?Paris and the Venetian, are all really quite nice. But for location, style, service and foods options the Aria is the best place to stay in Vegas. Check it out! Oh ya, try the Public Urban Bar in the Crystals for a good night of drinking. Great staff and the prices won't blow a hole in the wallet. Cheers!

Room Tip: they are all wonderful, higher floor the better, and ask to be near the elevators

We stayed at the ARIA for 6 nights (previously stayed at Paris). There's only one word to describe the place - VAST.
The location is fantastic, right in the centre of the strip with easy access to the Deuce and monorail at MGM, plus so many options for eating out, we only dined at ARIA once. We checked in at the same time as a couple of conferences, so our "guaranteed strip view" room was on the 12th floor (out of +50) and we had a wedge view, which was quite underwhelming.
The furnishing and decor are nice, room was clean and the bed was amazing - so comfortable. The bathroom is well thought out - but weird that you cannot put a plug (stopper) in the vanity at all.
A couple of downers for us were the fact that we couldn't make a cup of tea or coffee in the room (no kettle or perculator)and the mini bar fridge was one of those dreadful types that if you move anything it registers the cost of the item to your account. We were told that the mini bar items could not be removed so that we could store a bottle of wine or soft drinks. Also - the Resort Fee at $20 per day is a complete rort for what you actually receive.
That said, it's still a lovely property and we'd recommend a stay there.

My husband & i stayed here Dec. 10th - 13th. Modern & clean. Beautiful rooms although smaller than I expected. The beds are so comfortable! I have tried several times to purchase the pillows but i cant ever get anyone to work with me. The spa & casino are top notch! We could never get the remote to work for our lighting. Staff was nice. The concierge was great at helping as rent a limo. The buffet is comparable to the Belagio, in fact it might be better! I would love to come back & stay here again.

We got a GREAT deal and stayed at the ARIA for 3 nights this past weekend, it was great from start to finish. The hotel is very modern and clean! Our room was on the 50th floor on at the back, we had a very nice mountain view. Very cool features in the rooms, you run it all through the tv pretty much. The room was a little dark at night even with all the lamps on, but nothing to complain about. The bed was AMAZING!! I wanted to take it home with me!
The hotel does smell like vanilla/almond :) YUMMY! Just an FYI that the buffet is pretty pricey, we went Saturday morning, but left very quickly when we had to pay (before eating of course) and the total was over $70 for 2 of us!!! We had a great meal at Café Vettro instead for $30 less. We didn't eat at any of the other restaurants there just cause of our budget.
The location on the strip is pretty central. You have to walk either down to NYNY to cross the street or up to just before Paris to cross on the walkway over the strip. I'm not sure where some people were when they say it's like a 10min walk to the strip... It took maybe an extra 5min to get from the main lobby to the sidewalk on the strip. Not a big deal in the whole "Vegas" scheme of things.
I would reccomend this hotel, but not for full price! If you find a good deal then grab it and try it out. It is unlike any of the other Vegas hotels on the strip, we do wish it had more in the way of food options. No foodcourt, just the restaurants.

This is definitely a nice properly, but I think we'll go back to Wynn or Encore. We always had excellent experiences there from start to finish and there were certain areas of Aria that were disappointed.

We arrived around 10pm and then have a long counter desk for checking people in. They had plenty of people working and helping people, but there was a line forming of maybe 5-7 couples, no one was standing around to direct. There was no velvet rope or anything to keep the line together and finally someone came over and said 'there's not one line, just go ahead and line up behind someone else at the counter' -- well this seemed a bit silly because you have no idea how long these people have been up there, who's going to finish first, etc. So we got behind someone and waited, and waited, I went to get drinks ($59 for 2 double red bull-vodkas!!!!) and came back and he still wasn't being helped. Finally we got up there and were given a room on the 4th floor - this seems crazy so we asked for a higher room and they said they were full but we could move tomorrow. We had paid for an upgraded room so we decided to suck it up and at least check it out. We sadly had to walk into the elevator bank for the lowest floor levels. We walk into the room and are overlooking a roof... what?! this can't be an upgraded room. My husband called down and after inquiring, they told us that we were in a standard room, not the deluxe room we had paid for, because they were sold out. Honesty is the best policy with me and this really rubbed me the wrong way, were they hoping we wouldn't notice? They moved us up to the 34 floor into an accessible room, which had a much nicer view, but only one sink in the bathroom, no tub, etc. They said we could move the next day. We had more problems the next day, with only rooms on low floors and finally decided to just stay in the room we were in. This whole process was disappointing though. They did end up comping us the difference between the standard room and the deluxe though.

We had room service and that was very good. They brought a whole pitcher of water which was nice and the breakfast burrito was good and my husband liked his eggs.

We went to the pool for a little bit, it took me 30 minutes to flag someone down for a drink. We caught someone's eye about 15 minutes in but she told my husband she wasn't our waitress... We got the big 32-oz drink which was like $60 or something crazy.

The public areas are nice and the room were also nice (high tech with auto drapes and lights - the lights were hard to figure out though). i think it's a good option, but I don't like how they handled our room situation and you can definitely see a difference in service between this place and somewhere like Wynn.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor, you'll get a view of the roof from the 4th floor.
