“Best place for the price”

Our group of 4 mid-lifers had a very good stay here for 4 nights and days. We've stayed 2 x Aria, Mandalay Bay, Paris, and more. I was anticipating a dated place like Flamingo, but was pleasantly surprised. It was at capacity due to final 4 and spring break, but all ran smoothly, parking to check out. I had not been here in about 15 years, and not only updated and clean, but added the Diablo and some new restaurants. We also like the addition of a go-go dancer at the Ingnite bar/ black jack tables. We only ate at restaurants on property, very pleased esp. with Dragon noodle. We ate there 3 times the first 3 days. LOVE the friendly dealers and other staff. I would like to see room hall carpets cleaner and a Wi-fi included in the "resort fee". Very central location in between NYNY and Aria. Enjoy!

Room Tip: have choice of mountains, pool, strip/roof. Join Mlife to get room offers and other benefits.

I have been many times at the Monte Carlo in Las Vegas.
The 32 is the luxury executive floor of the Monte Carlo, and rooms and service are excellent!!!!!!!!!.
The Monte Carlo Hotel is a classic Las Vegas Hotel with an excellent service and a very warm atmosphere.
I really like to stay there because the service and attention you get is really friendly and polite.
There is a chinese restaurant in the Hotel that has excellent asiatic food at a very reasonable price.
This Hotel is located at the center of the Strip, therefore, you can easily walk to each direction.

I found most of the accommodations at the Monte Carlo in Las Vegas to be very good with the exception of the pool area. They have good selection of pools including wave and stream pools which are great entertainment for kids. Unfortunately the music is so loud it's hard to hold a conversation with the person on the lounge chair next to you. And it is certainly louder than you would want your children's headphones to be. Everything is acceptable until about 11:30 when they crank up the volume. When that happens people scramble for a better location, but they crank up the volume on all the speakers so there are no better locations. Numerous people complained, but the pool attendants shrug it off and apologize, saying they have no control over the volume.
Bottom line: If you don't plan to use the pool facilities the Monte is a good place to stay. If you plan to use the pool area then I'd suggest staying elsewhere.

Room Tip: Rooms with a view of the LV strip also overlook the casino roof (not so pretty) with the exhaust fan...

Monte Carlo Resort & Casino is a pretty standard mid-range Las Vegas casino property, but I found the price to value ratio to be exceptionally good, at least during my recent stay. My room was not business traveler-friendly, lacking much work space and few electric plugs. Also there was not a comfortable chair available. But let's face it, casino resorts don't want you sitting around or working in your room. I can't blame them for encouraging guests to be out of the room dining or gambling. A tram provides convenient transportation as far up the strip as Ballagio. From there Caesars, the Mirage, and other resorts are walkable.

Ive been to Vegas 3 times and all three times I have stayed at Monte Carlo. Its very clean and it feels very homey to me. I love the pool its super fun and nice - try their pink lemonade iced drink! All the places to eat are good. The casino is nice and clean too. The ice bar is really neat - but pretty pricey. Diablos is fun and has great $3 margaritas! All in all this is a great hotel and I would recommend it to anyone! Its in a great location too! The only thing I didn't like is the $15 a day room fee that should be included in your booking.

We stayed at the Monte Carlo from March 22 - 25. Initially we weren't sure what to expect but we weren't disappointed. Check in was slow and there were lots of people in line. After waiting in line for about 20 minutes we made it to the front desk. There is a room charge of $20/day that you will have to pay when checking in. This can be done with cash or major credit card. We were able to check into our room right then. Our room was 16-236 on the 16th floor, we had a limited view of the strip ( garage rooftops and then you could see fat burger, game works, and some other places). The room was nice, comfy bed, in room safe but it did appear somewhat dated but we weren't about to complain about minor things. House keeping did a great job of cleaning our room. I believe her name was Maria. The only time we ate at the MC was for appetizers at The Pub and breakfast at The Cafe. Both meals were delicious and surprisingly very fulfilling. I would suggest that anyone stay at this hotel. It's within walking distance to NYNY, Excalibur, fat burger, Walgreens, CVS, Denny's, M & M world and some souvenir shops
and there is a free tram that runs to Bellagio.

Whirlwind 2 day/3 night Vegas get-away! Glad we didn't spend more on a fancier resort - only in rm. to shower & sleep. MC is very nice w/an excellent location. Loved easy access to FREE tram to Bellagio & nice little food court for a quick, cheap bite to eat on the go.

Got a standard n/s king room on 30th floor w/great view of pools & City Center (Aria, Vdara, Crystals, etc.) Enjoyed ending evenings back in our room out of all the Vegas smoke (!), sitting in 2 comfy chairs @ the window, taking in the view w/a cold beer (picked up in convenience store right off lobby - $2.50 for a cold bottle of beer!) Elevators are fast and divided up by floor groupings (ie. 6 elevators for 22-32nd floors) so you don't stop on 29 floors before getting to yours! Rm was really gd. size. Nice little extra having 2 luggage racks - 1 for each of us. No trouble w/in-room safe - gd. feature. Enjoyed in-room coffee & water, resupplied each day w/extra if requested. Bed/bedding perfectly clean & very comfortable!

Pool area looked great but temps. were cool when we were there plus area only open til 5 p.m. so we didn't even use. Would have liked to use the hot tub late at night after a day of walking, walking, walking. Didn't even turn on the TV 'til time to check out - easy check-out over the TV! Love that!

A note about housekeeping: I accidentally left my mother's ring in the shower; housekeeping found it & placed it safely on the bathroom counter. Really appreciate the trustworthiness that represents!

PROS: location, accessability to free tram & food court for inexpensive options, great service, clean & comfortable, multiple pools & sand volleyball court

CONS: pools/hot tub not open at night (closed @ 5 p.m.), no in-room frig (typical Vegas, though), resort fee (also typical Vegas - resorts w/o this fee probably just have higher nightly rate), decor a bit dated (big deal), overall Vegas con - the smoke!

Room Tip: The higher the better!
