Me and my wife decided on The Mirage for our honeymoon in September 08 im a little late on the review lol. Anyways we had an early flight to Vegas arrived at 9 a.m we asked if we could check in early they said that we in fact could but if we wanted to wait until 4pm they would upgrade us because of it being our honeymoon and we agreed. We got a volcano and strip view room for our upgrade and a free bottle of wine. Only complaint was the small room and bathroom TI next door has a petite suite that we have stayed in 2 times and absolutley love it has 2 bathrooms and a huge jetted tub. Even the next level up rooms at The Mirage dont have this, if the petite suite from TI was at The Mirage that would be great. The Mirage was easy to get around we loved the little deli store where we got snacks everyday before tours we went on. The pool was just perfect it was huge but kinda hard to find a chair get out there early and its no problem. We loved the free tram to TI next door it was very convienient because the coffee shop at TI is one of my fav places to eat and is open 24 hours. We saw Jay Leno at The Mirage and we also saw Ray Romano and Kevin James. Here is a tip after Jay Lenos show he leaves out of a door in the lobby about 30 mins afterwards and not many people know this so we waited along with about 5 other people and Jay stopped and shook hands chatted for a while and took pictures with my my wife and dad a security guard gave me the tip. Overall The Mirage is great its one of the older resorts on the strip but you cannot tell it the way it is kept up its like brand new the location is awesome the pool is perfect and the views are great i reccomemnd for sure.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the front of the strip or down the strip towards the bellagio for best views

So the last time I stayed here was when it opened in 1985 and it was nice then, but have only been back when cutting thru the casino or headed to a place to eat there. I go to Vegas 5-6 times a year on business, and normally stay at Bellagio, Trump and MGM Signature.

This trip was for 2 nights and 3 days and I was attending the big Men's Apparel show on my own nickel, so price was the factor, and location.

Paying only $69 night, plus a $65 meal credit to be used at 4 of the eateries, was a steal. The rooms and hotel wings have all been remodeled in the last 2 years, they are vey nice, great beds, nice flat screens, light and airy, and almost a good view, as saw 3 different ones.

Though this hotel is not as formal as the Bellagio, nor has the ambiance or decor like Bellegio, it is still very nice, in fact, the rooms are more upbeat and not so dark/roman in feel, which I preferred. The gaming areas are still rather dark and old school, compared to the Bellagio, which is very nice and lot of luxury. But for this price, which is easily 50% less, I think its a great value, and the customer service was very good, very attentive, and very well managed.

You cant go wrong, its better than Treasure Island IMO, and for sure nicer than Ceasers, and just a notch under Bellagio/Venetian, all in all, a fine property on all levels.

I dont give a lot of Excellent reviews, but feel this property executed on every level a traveler should expect, so job well done Mirage.

The hotel ist ok - rooms really need a refurb, but who stays in the room in LV? But: situation at the pool cannot be expressed in words (but I will try it:) CROWDED!!!! And with crowded I do not mean crowded but so crowded, that you hardly can find a place in the pool. Sunlounges? Forget it - no way to find a place for 2 persons when you arrive after breakfast. And what is even worse: when you finde a sunbed, you can hear your neighbour breathing because the sunbeds are PACKED next to each other without an inch of space between them. Kids and toddlers all over the place (the hotels seems to be loved by young families).
The casino is good, the buffet is ok (but nothing special). Our recommendation: the hotel is ok, if you avoid the pool. If you want some nice pool time - stay away from the Mirage.

The Mirage still has it. A beautiful hotel; this place has moved with the generations to still be one of the nicer places to stay on the strip. Clean, smells good, and overall nice hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was super nice! The poolarea was crowded, but nice and cozy. They had the best frozen yogurt - Blizz! The rooms were big and comfortable, modern and clean! I really loved it here. I did not use the casino much, but it looked fine. The lobby area was like an rainforest, with waterfalls and fish. The volcano was also very cool! The view is also amazing, and it is very local, at the middle of The Strip. It is also family-friendly, so do I like to think.
Las Vegas is something different. It is awsome. You have to go there. And if you do, visit The Mirage, for the absolute experience.
Thumbs up!

Room Tip: Get a room with view against the pool area for the best view.
