About a mile walk from Laughlin to Davis Dam. WE walk on East side of river. Could also walk on West side to Dam.

When you visit Davis Dam, you'll need to visit Davis Camp Park , It's located just below the dam. It has wonderful views along the Colorado River. They offer shade gazebos, steel BBQ pits, showers @ restrooms and even jet ski rentals. To visit for the day it's just $7 , to use the park from 7a-7 pm. You can enjoy the river with inner tubes, tied to a heavy rock, as the river current flows at 8-10 miles per hour at all times ! Make this part of your visit to Arizona, and the North end of Bullhead City for fun @ sun !

If you are in Laughlin or Bullhead City, go the Davis Dam Park. You'll get an up-close view of the dam, the beautiful Colorado River where you can fish, if you want. There's a playground and a splash pad for kids--and adults.

For me as a runner i'm always looking for a nice trail to run when i visit as place. This is a good one. Stayed at the Riverside Casino, its right a 5 miles up and back so great for a morning walk or run along the edge of the Colorado river. Very scenic and well kept.

Nice dam but you cannot get real close or drive across anymore. Nice scenery around it and only a few miles away from the Casinos on the road to Kingman.

We took the river cruise up to the dam - was actually a lot more fun than I expected. We had a good tour guide, and learned a great deal about the dam, and the area.

We made a picnic lunch and headed for the Nevada side of the Davis Dam..
What a picnic area.
New ramada's with lots tables and all very well maintained.
Nice modern playground for youngsters and special covered
fishing areas that are on the edge of the water.
Good place to spend an afternoon relaxing, fishing or hikingaround the area.
