Whiskey Pete's Casino and Hotel
Ranked #6 of 10 things to do in Primm
Attraction details

It is an inexpensive hotel. The rooms are very dated and in need of repair. The bathroom water went from hot to cold with what seemed like no in between. The casino has bad ventilation the cigarette smoke and smell is everywhere, this is not the case at the Primm. If you are on a tight budget stay here if you can spend a little more stay at the Primm across the freeway.

I'm not much of a gambler but I did enjoy checking out the car that Bonnie and Clyde stole and ultimately died in. Also the car where Dutch Schutlz was killed. A part of history that should be checked out when in Primm.

If you want a part of Americana, do a quick stop here. They do have some Clyde memorabilia and the car behind an enclosure along with a movie depicting their lives, photos of their bodies and the smiling faces of the G-men who killed them. The car is riddled with bullet holes. In some ways, it is kind of sad and macabre to have the lovers come to such an ignominious end.

In Primm, Nevada - called State Line, too. Whiskey Pete's, I have to say, is so much fun. It's been there for many years and still a fun attraction --- and easy access off the I-15 freeway. You cannot miss it. Great gambling, country western music/theme. Good food areas. On the other side of the I-15 is Primm Valley Resort and Buffalo Bill's. There is a really neat roller coaster to ride. A tram to take you over the freeway to either Casino. Lots of fun. Lots of parking. Lots of RV room/trucks. A good place to stop with your pets if they need to go potty - get a drink of water ---- or if your car needs gas.

OK place to visit for the Bonnie & Clyde memorabilia, very cool. Beside that not too much. Cheap blackjack and reasonably priced tables otherwise. Did not stay in hotel or eat at the restaurant. It was doing a good amount of business on a Sunday evening. Worth the visit. I would return.
