Description: We did it. We redefined classic pub fare with an ambitious menu of our own, served it up with a side of lake views from our sun-drenched deck and topped it off with the lake's most iconic mojito. Brooks' Bar & Deck has taken its place as the premier post-play watering hole in the State of Nevada. Offering great food and an amazing atmosphere to enjoy with friends, Brooks' has become one of South Lake Tahoe's best restaurants that everyone can enjoy. Brooks' was recently selected by the editors of Golf Digest as one of the "Best Golf Pubs," joining an additional 10 other pubs worldwide in famous golfing locations including Pebble Beach, California; Pinehurst, North Carolina; St. Andrews, Scotland; and Doonberg, Ireland. With the majestic snow-capped Sierras in the distance, guests can relax on Brooks' expansive deck and take in the heavenly postcard-like views of the golf course and Lake Tahoe. Located right off Edgewood Tahoe's picturesque 18th hole, this is home to one of the greatest sunsets of the world, and it happens daily! Within, Brooks' feels very much like a sports bar designed by Frank Gehry: sweeping vaulted ceilings, walls of glass windows, a handsome wooden build. Yet the beautiful architecture belies the comfortable feel and attitude. With multiple flatscreen TVs tuned to the biggest games of the day, the bar features a number of quality local brews and a variety of signature cocktails. Casual dining fare, deluxe appetizers and entrees, and sophisticated comfort food all put Brooks' at the top of its class.

Beautiful golf course on the lake with a cool clubhouse and patio. We had a rib appetizer and drinks on the patio area and viewed the lake.

We had 16 of us had our awards party after golf on the deck at Brooks Bar. The service and attention were very good. Everyone really liked what they ordered.
Of course the view was fabulous overlooking the lake.
A must when visiting So Lake Tahoe

You can't beat the setting of this place with the shores of Lake Tahoe on one side and the most stunning golf course in the basin on the other. The four stars is definitely for the setting as the food was good but not spectacular and the service was the same. You are definitely over-paying by maybe 15% for the food and cocktails in order to enjoy the setting, but that is okay by me. The menu is pretty basic and centered in burgers, sandwiches and salads. I had the steak sandwich and it fit into the category above. The burger, the salad and fish tacos ordered in our group were all eaten without complaint but nobody really remarked on anything as being really good. I'd categorize the food as "acceptably average". The by-the-glass wine offerings could be spruced up a bit but were serviceable and they poured an acceptable cocktail. Would be "five stars" if the food was anything better than "average" based upon the experience. I would definitely return and am thankful our friends we were visiting picked this spot for our last meal in Tahoe. There are some fireplaces there but they are more for show than to provide heat so take a jacket if you are going to be there for more than a few minutes after sunset which is simply spectacular to watch from this bar & grill.

We visit Stateline once a year and always make a stop at Brooks at the Edgewood for lunch. They offer indoor as well as outdoor seating and have a varied menu with a good choice of appetizers, sandwiches as well as entrees. Great cocktails and a delicious steak sanwich were our favorites.

Service was minimal. Was never asked if we needed anything, nor were water glasses refilled. We both ordered Sirloin Burgers @ $15.99. We were told they came undressed & with lettuce, tomato, and onion on the side along with french fries.. There was a list of other items you could add for a $1.00 each. Dill pickles weren't on the list, but I told her I would like dill pickle on mine. She advised me the hamburger does come with dill pickle. My friend enjoyed a vodka martini and was pleased with the presentation of the shaker. When our burgers were delivered along with our "set-up", she advised us she had only one steak knife. I looked at her and commented, "and where are we?" She later returned with a second steak knife. We were pretty much ignored from that point on. I had to get her attention to advise her I didn't get my dill pickle. Neither did my friend. She later returned to advise us they were out of dill pickles. Really?? It is not like dill pickles are a fresh vegetable that parishes. They come in a jar and can hold in a refrigerator for months! We were there at 2:30 in the afternoon so it's not like they were slammed. The burgers and fries were good, but don't go there with any service expectations
