On a circular tour we visited Virginia City which is a well preserved cowboy town in West Nevada , which I had been to in 1997 but my wife hadn’t seen before. She likes Cowboy Westerns so Took her there this year. It is where Mark Twain set up his early printing press. There is the Mark Twain Museum but unfortunately closed the day we were there. There are many unusual shops, old buildings museums and wooden boardwalks. We bought some hand made wooden Christmas decorations.
Anyone interested in old Cowboy towns this is wel worth a visit. Make sure you park in a pay car park or the resident sherif will get you !!More
