Service was a bit on the slow side, drinks were very good, waitstaff and manager very friendly. Not a big menu but it was all fresh, gazpacho soup was bland , roasted pepper bisque was awesome, quiche was very good, Italian sandwich was good, the side of noodles was not even worth putting on the plate and did not pair well with the sandwiches. Prices were reasonable

A great small town lunch experience. Looked like a multigenerational team with, Gramma cooking, daughter handling the front of the house and a grand daughter working the tables carrying food and cleaning up.... All working hard to serve the clients well (successfully). My spouse has dietary restrictions, that was easily handled, food that came out was definitely farm to table (garden salads).... Penne pasta nicely cooked in olive oil and garlic, chicken quesadilla ( perfect portion of ingredients).... Everything cooked to perfection and served warm and relatively quickly!

Clean, clean, clean, everything was spotless in this cafe.... You Know that this restaurant will be around a long time.... If you visit Main St in Bethlehem, NH around lunch time or dinner consider a drop in. Warning, it is a small cafe, but then Bethlehem, is a small town.... Thanks Kate and your mom for giving us a wonderful lunch to remember!

On our way to northern Vermont we needed gas and a snack to keep us going. As we drove into Bethleham, we saw the storefront for Cold Mountain Cafe. What a great choice!!! I got a great, fresh large turkey sandwich. My partner got a grilled chicken salad that could not have been more fresh!! Chicken was hot..greens fresh and cold!! She loved it!! They were very busy with a late arriving lunch(it was about 2:15). We were greeted immediately, served water and coffee(we had to wait for coffee to be brewed(BUT it was fresh, hot and good). Meal came right along. Server was prompt ,attentive and pleasant....in spite of being very busy. Have been in the restaurant business myself for 40 years....and by nature and profession....can be critical. Not here, not today!!!

We were 5 people in our party, the service was horrible, the portions were minuscule and the prices outrageous! The food was marginally okay with very little of the main ingredients. It cost us over $250 and only two of us had a beer and we had 2 appetizers to share and no desserts.
The kicker is, we had to wait forever for them to collect the check for payment and no thank you for coming or anything, and we all LEFT HUNGRY! We are not difficult to please customers nor are we folks who want huge portions, but paahleeeeze... give me a break! Something told us that they know they cater to “one-time” tourists and rip them off shamelessly! Stay away from this phony pretentious poor excuse for a restaurant and you won’t be dissatisfied and have to write a review like this!

Stopped here on our way through based on prior reviews. Service was prompt and friendly even though they were busy. I had the chicken salad and my wife had the soup (gazpacho) and sandwich (turkey). Both meals were excellent.
