This small cafe is the perfect spot for a nice lunch or dinner. The menu is small and they have daily specials. I would definitely recommend the daily specials. The day we were there one of the specials was quiche and a bowl of soup. I got clam chowder and both were fantastic!

We had a group of 4 and stopped in right before closing. The small intimate cafe was warm with soft lighting. All the tables were full but they were able to serve us at the bar. The bartender Cori was very accommodating and helped us find the right beverages for our tastes and evening. They were playing some great music. The owner gave us some menus and would later serve us. The menu was outstanding for the range of options available. We ended up ordering the buda bowl, black been cake/salad, bibimbop, and lamb stew. The dinner and drinks were fabulous and Cori was a great dinner companion providing fun conversation and needed refreshments. We absolutely recommend this fine restaurant.

Small cafe with 12 tables. Definitely want to make a reservation. Food and service were excellent. Menu on the small side with daily specials.

We were staying in Twin Mountain and looking for a birthday restaurant for my husband on a Tuesday in October. We find out most restaurants in the area are closed on Tuesdays in the fall. Drove into Bethlehem in hopes of finding something open. Came upon the small, unassuming Cold Mountain Cafe. The place was packed. We did not have a reservation, but the hostess/bartender/owner (?) said she would fit us in at the bar if we could wait a few minutes. We were thrilled. We waited less than 10 minutes and the tables were never empty longer than they could be cleared for new guests. The food is farm to table and prepared lovingly with attention to detail by the chefs. I had the chicken cordon bleu with squash stuffed with feta and tomatoes, and drizzled with a balsamic vin dressing, It was excellent! My husband had one of the specials: flank steak braised in a coffee/stout reduction with mashed potatoes and squash. It turned out to be a fabulous birthday dinner after all! My husband also had a Tuckerman's pale ale brewed in Conway that was excellent. We would recommend this to everyone, but make a reservation to guarantee your spot!

On a cold, overcast, rainy October New Hampshire day, noon came to us hurried travelers and hot soup was on our mind as we swung into the unfamiliar little village of Bethlehem. We weren’t looking for an Inn, just a warm bowl of soup. We stopped at the first pairing of parking and food and Lady Luck ushered us into a small but quite tasteful eating room. We took the last table and gave thanks for our timing (a longish line was forming at the front door) and luck as we surveyed the menu. A seasonal soup (apple and squash) and a world class sandwich for less than $20! We’ll drive intentionally to get here next time through!
