In its previous incarnation as the Country Cow, this restaurant was lacking. But now, refreshed and renamed, the Covered Bridge is reinvigorated and enjoyable. We like to go on Thursday nights to have dinner and play trivia in the bar. So far, we have been pleasantly pleased with everything we have had in the four times we have been recently. The cowboy chips and the fried mozzarella are very yummy starters. The chicken piccata and the the prosciutto grilled cheese were also very good. The wild blueberry crisp was outstanding.

They have a nice view while you eat their good food. Great service and amazing staff. The price is just the right amount for what you get.

Our first time since the makeover and new name. Service was excellent, menu was interesting with something for all palates and the pricing was reasonable. The food was very good although the chicken picatta was a bit salty.

Great view of the Pemi river and the Blair Bridge which is an old covered bridge and a local landmark.

There is a big bar area as you walk in which looks nice. As said, the main dining room is very nice with a beatiful view. But there is a big empty room beyween the dining room and bar it is empty and unsightly. Maybe it's used for weddings etc.

Thank you for your review we appreciate all feedback. To answer your question about our dining room we call the glassed in area which overlooks the river the "porch" and the larger area in between the "dining room." Everyone wants the river view on the porch which seats 52 people so that fills up first. On busy nights and weekends we usually fill the dining room as well and use it for many different functions throughout the year. We have an event space downstairs which is used for weddings and such as too. Big building!

We had been to the restaurant at this location before, but with a different name. So, this was our first time at Covered Bridge Farm Table. Not too busy on a mid-week Summer night, but did seem to cater to families with small children, most of whom were well behaved. Nice view of the covered bridge and live music was playing. Nice cocktail list. We sampled the mushroom caps which were excellent and meaty. Very nice taste. The served bread had a touch of rosemary which was delicious. We chose the chicken and the linguini with clams. The chicken was tasty. The linguini tasted great with the garlic, but the clams were very chewy, almost to the point of cardboard. We passed on dessert. All in all, a nice meal. Service was fine and attentive. I imagine this to be a great place for families and younger children, not so much for an intimate, special meal.

Thank you for your review and comments. The week of the fourth of July holiday is a very busy "family" week in our neck of the woods. Everyone is on vacation and most of them are staying at the local inns, campgrounds or hotel across the street. We cater to a family atmosphere as well during the months of February and March during peak ski season.
As for your linguine with clams I will address the issue with the kitchen and I do apologize. I wish it was brought to the attention of your server so they could have prepared you another one or replaced it with something else so I do apologize.
