Ate way too much good food, portions are very satisfying - needed a long nap afterwards. Would visit again and plan to soon

WE had diven by here a million times without trying it. It used to be right on the highway but road expansion makes it a little more difficult to find if you're not familiar with the area.
The food is good but not quite as tasty as I have had elsewhere. It's very informal, a vast open space that must seat upwards of 250 people. Portions are generous. Nice location on Great Bay.Wait staff is friendly, but mostly young and without a lot of style. Prices are low for a seafood restaurant in this neck of the woods.

Newick's is a yearly stop while I am working up in New Hampshire. It's a very large restaurant, unpretentious, and a fun hang with friends. The lobster is predictably fresh and good, and the lobster pie with ritz crackers is also very delicious. I prefer the long neck steamers with fresh butter and the lobster. They will bring you a bib so you don't ruin your shirt, and they have a bar, if you are interested in that with your meal. They also have a gift shop and you can get fresh seafood to go from the market at the front of the store. It's not particularly cheap, but the food is good.

My family went to this restaurant recommended by best places to visit while in Durham, NH. We were there visiting my nephew at UNH. Our waitress did got greet us or even tell us her name. A table that was there after us, got their food before us. She never checked on us to see if the food was ok. We didn’t even get a thank you for visiting the place. Food was ok, probably would’ve been better if we had better service. Will NEVER go back again.
