It's hard to go long without fried clams...or fish and chips...and Newicks delivers as it has for decades. Good, fast service, large menu, nice view of Great Bay and all the fried fish you can eat.

Not fancy...a bit greesey, but fresh quality seafood at a good price. great view of the bay. This is the old fashion New England fried food joint, if that's what you're looking for, this is it.

Newick's used to be THE place to go for great seafood at a very reasonable price. Not so anymore. The prices are high for what you get and the food is merely average. I suspect Newick's is still busy because of the convenient location, the "nostalgia," and the view. To Newick's: Bring back your great prices AND great food!!

I was very excited to go to this restaurant after hearing so much about it. I ordered the fried combo of haddock and shrimp. It was pretty good and worth the money. I also ordered lobster pie (lobster, butter and ritz crackers). I ate two forks of the lobster pie and gave up. The lobster was chewy and the whole dish lacked flavor (even though it had the butter and buttery ritz crackers). This one one time where I saw the price of the item and told myself that even though it was pricey that it would stay on the table and not come home with me in my to go box.

All excellent quaint rustic ambiance with post card bayside views and delicious classic New England seafood. Can't go wrong here.
