Some Lake Forest residents want to keep the resort a secret. They love it and think that if lots of retirees find out how great it is, that it will get too crowded. The lake is superb, the 9-hole golf course is lots of fun to play and there are plenty of activities (or just relax in the woods or on the water).
I say, "the more, the merrier." It's a wonderful spot for snowbirds to enjoy the beauty of New England. You can come stay in an RV, buy a park model and even buy the lot (condominium ownership). Each lot is surrounded by tall trees, so you have privacy and shade. It's a lovely place to spend the summer.
