My husband and I tried Hagan's for the first time after being recommended and reading great reviews. Unfortunately my wine and side were the highlights. We ordered tuna to start which was good, not great. The tuna didn't taste super fresh.
After that we got the grilled ribeye and chicken piccata. Chicken piccata is my husbands favorite and it was disappointing. The sauce had hardly any lemon flavor, it was over-seasoned and had a muddled flavor. I ended up giving him about half my steak to give him a better meal! The steak was pretty good, generous with butter which helps, but it was cooked unevenly. I gave my husband the super rare part and I ate the other half.
My favorite part of the meal was the au gratin cauliflower, that was delicious and different.
Overall service was good, but food was average at best. Wouldn't spend another $100 here for sure.
