We stayed here for one night after our climb to the summit of Mt Washington. From the moment we walked in it felt Cosy and Homely. We stayed in the William Wipple Room on the top floor and all home comforts had been thought of, the towels in the bathroom were so fluffy and the soaps smelt lovely! Only down side is the air con unit was loud so we couldn't have it on during the night. Breakfast was very fresh and tasty comprising of French toast and pancakes, with delicious homemade granola and scones to start. If we are to visit Jackson again we will return.

Like the reviewer before me, when we arrived, the woman at the front desk was unfriendly to the point of being rude. She never smiled or even said "welcome." We felt as if she thought she was paying us to stay there rather than the other way around. The place itself is in need of an update and is not well taken care of - when you walk in, the first thing you see is a bucket and a broom. Breakfast was edible but not super tasty, but at least the service was more pleasant. Wouldn't stay here again, especially given all of the other options in the area.

Room Tip: Don't stay here!

We stayed here for three nights in august and were the only guests here on the first evening. We arrived to be greeted in a surly fashion . Pretty much breakfast is at this time, here's the wifi password and your room is on the top floor. The woman seemed annoyed that she had been disturbed by our arrival. No offer of help with cases or the usual pleasantries.
Breakfast was dull - pretty much the same each day . A slice of melon on the plate was added each day but was so unripe it was inedible !
Air conditioning units in the room was so loud it sounded like a lawnmower.
Just overall the place seemed unloved and dated. Flaking paint on the front stairs just gave the impression that the whole place needed smartening up.

Just finished up a memorable week in New Hampshire. Sacha and her staff were friendly and very accommodation. Our room was spacious with plenty of storage. IAJ is conveniently located for hiking and other outside activites. Several restaurants are within walking distance. We enjoy the decor and ambience of this Inn which "checks all the boxes" for us!

We stayed here a year ago last minute and loved it. So this year we made it our 17th anniversary destination. The location is fantastic. Just outside of North Conway, away from the traffic, but just a 10 minute drive if you want to shop. There are several great restaurants very close by without having to go back into North Conway. Great hiking trails near by as well as sightseeing. The location was not the only reason we love staying here. The Inn is very comfortable, very clean, and the staff were welcoming and make you feel right at home. Breakfast was very good and fast if you are needing to hit the trails or get your day started. And fresh baked cookies in the afternoon after a long day out were just perfect! I cannot wait to go back for another weekend.
