We stayed in the Daniel Webster (#5) for 2 nights while visiting Mt. Washington and surrounding area. The room was lovely - it had the charm we expected of a 1902 home, with the freshness of nice linens and rugs. No worn out, tired, period-style comforters or dusty window treatments here! It was spacious - plenty of floor space to move around amid our luggage, and dressers and tabletops to organize our things. There was even a power strip to plug in our rechargeable cell phones and laptops - so often lacking in other B&Bs.
Snacks and ice were always available, and wine and hors d'oeuvres in the late afternoon. There were multiple comfy and cozy common areas and the porch was delightful in the summer evening. There were several delicious choices each morning for breakfast and we were welcome to sit by ourselves or share a table with new friends. The Inn Keeper, Michele, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more welcoming. Loved it!

Just returned from a lovely stay while attending a local wedding. Innkeepers were so friendly and helpful, fantastic breakfast, room was immaculate - such lovely grounds. Great to have aircon in the rooms. looking forward to return during ski season.

A lovely character property. Room was large and clean. Air con unit made far too much noise! Great staff and a good breakfast. A good short stay. The mountains are beautiful and well worth a visit. We joined in the local July 4th celebrations with welcoming locals.

We stayed in the Matthew Thornton room and were pleasantly surprised at how secluded and quiet it was. The room is surrounded by trees and the sound of birds with a skylight above the bed perfect for stargazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful with area adventures big and small. Breakfast was amazing and sized just right. Save room for the fresh home made scones!

Room Tip: Our room was simple and small but worth it for the quiet seclusion it offers

My husband and I were in the area for a brief stay to hike Mt. Washington and were looking for a place that was both affordable and close to the starting point of our climb.
The Inn at Jackson easily met those requirements. It was very reasonably priced and a short 10-minute drive to Pinkham Notch.
We spent two nights there and since our stay was on a couple weekdays, the Inn had very few other guests. Our stay was quiet and pleasant. The Inn itself was clean and the room was very tidy. The grounds were beautiful, parking was easy and the hostesses were so incredibly nice and accommodating. Breakfast was fresh and we had plenty of choices for the meal as well as coffee, juices, milk, etc.
When we first arrived, our hostess set out a bottle of wine for us to enjoy and we had access to a refrigerator for our own drinks. Before we left for our hike, our hostess made sure we had plenty of snacks for the climb and offered more in case we weren't prepared.
Overall, our stay was a lovely experience and I would highly recommend The Inn at Jackson!
