Bill and Loretta are the loveliest innkeepers I've ever met! As someone who prefers B&Bs/Inns over hotels, I appreciate feeling at home during my stay. It's a whole other level at the Red Sleigh Inn. The yard is filled with lovely flowers they tend to themselves. The common spaces are comfy. It's tucked away on a quiet street that's a 1/4 mile walk to Main St. It's just perfect! The breakfast was also INCREDIBLY divine!! Blueberry pancakes, blueberry crumb cake, real maple syrup, sausages, quiche, coffee, juice, cereal, fruit-yogurt-granola parfait. You name it, they'd cooked it. It was just wonderful. I can't wait to go back!!

Room Tip: The Lavender Room doesn't have a bathroom attached to it - choose something else for a more private experience! We loved the Yellow Room.

We stayed here just one night to go hiking in the mountains nearby. The family who runs this B&B is so kind and friendly. The breakfast was amazing (home-made hot food and baked goods - much better than usual for a B&B) and the room was very comfortable. It was a bit on the expensive side for us but totally worth it for the experience. Hope to go back there again. Highly recommended!

Great spot for a weekend getaway. Bill and Loretta are wonderful innkeepers. Feels like home. Many restaurants to choose from and outdoor activities to keep busy. Loved the continental breakfast each morning with company of other guests.

Perfect is the first word that comes to mind. We stayed in the Green Room, our friends had a first floor room (Rose?). Both were lovely, tastefully decorated and clean, clean, clean. The Inn is cozy and warm, Bill and Loretta are wonderful hosts. Nice little touches all around: waterbottles in the mini fridge, wine glasses and cork screw in the room, comfy beds and nice plush towels- even had robes in the closet. Such a welcoming environment too. Bill heard me mention going out to Dunk's to get a coffee and immediately made a pot of coffee. Thanks Bill :) The homey little touches and great hosts made this a perfect get away for us. We'll be back for sure!

We visited this marvelous inn for the third time in November of 2015. Bill and Loretta are the perfect couple to be hosting you. They make everyone feel so welcome and special! We had the green room. The bed was lovely, the colors soothing and the ensuite bath was just perfect. The house is very quiet at night, so we had the best sleep. Breakfast is superlative! We had steel cut oatmeal, eggs done two ways, lots of fruit, baked sweet rolls and sausages. Plus tea, coffee, and juice! The guest area is cozy and inviting, especially in winter, as there is a stove. In summer, there is a lovely garden to enjoy. In the living room, there is adequate seating for quite a few people, extremely comfortable. The Deppes know the area well, as they have been here a long time. We toured all of the surrounding area, even seeing the cottage where Robert Frost wrote his wonderful poetry. The White Mountains is very well-developed as a tourist area, and the highways/secondary roads are excellent. I could not recommend this (historic) inn more. You will be happy you stayed at the Red Sleigh!

Room Tip: For accessibility, ask for the Rose Room (first floor).
