The Basin is beautiful to visit year after year. WE never tire of it. There are hiking trails, one to The Little Basin which is beautiful to see also.

My wife and I stumbled upon this during a trip for our anniversary and are SO happy we stopped to explore. Beautiful little trail with waterfalls.

Always love this area and we visit each time we come to the area. The walk to the basin is lovely and fairly easy to do.

We stopped here here looking for something today and fell in love. The water flowing is peaceful and calming. There are enough people around that it’s not creepy like your in the woods alone but is not overcrowded and you have plenty of space to roam. On a hot day if you sit on a rock close to the river it’s like natures AC My son enjoyed jumping from rock to rock in the river

I have been going here for years. It's a nice, quick stop before going to major attractions in the area. It's free, scenic, and a great place to dangle your feet over the natural slides and falls. I don't think you are supposed to swim here, but you can dip feet in to cool off. It's even beautiful here in winter, when the falls make gorgeous, blue-toned glaciers. I highly recommend this place. Good for a picnic. Great for adults and kids and has easy trails.
