Quintessential greatness with northwoods charm. True culinary mastership with a quirky nod to local art. Only cash or check. Lovely wine or beer list. Truly amazing presentation and taste. A must see. Return visitors.

We had a nice family meal here and were very impressed with how accommodating they were for food intolerances which one of our dining companions had. The appetisers were lovely, the wine selection was decent, the mains were good, and we heard the desserts were delicious. Service was flawless and the decor was arty.

Hadn't been back in 2 years, but thank goodness it's the same as it was! Called 2 weeks in advance to get a Friday reservation, shocked that the place wasn't filled up!

We shared a soup app and the pancakes with lox, both were amazing, then I had the lamb chops and she had the scallops and they were both heavenly. No room for dessert considering all the extras you get (salad, potatoes or risotto, lots of other veggies). And the beer and wine are VERY well priced along with the rest of the menu. 2 apps, 2 entrees, 1 wine, = generous tip was barely $100. In Boston it would have been double, easily.

We completely enjoyed the dining experience. Great food that was done in a unique way. The service was both attentive and friendly and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and peaceful.

We have lived in the area for 12 years, and just discovered Tim-bir alley last year. In traveling for business & pleasure I have eaten a number of restaurants, but this restaurant has given me a new category to judge them buy, Artfulness. Not only was the food, service, and pricing GREAT, but the plating is a work of art
