My daughter made a reservation for a two night stay for her significant other, who is in the armed forces currently serving overseas. Due to to the COVID crisis, he visit was cancelled with no return date. Our attorney prepared a letter on her behalf after she and her father were not able to reason with them over the phone.
This was their response:
" Your Daughter was fully aware of our cancellation policy when she reserved a suite with us months ago. As a rule, we only discuss reservations with the reservation holder; not their father. After reading your extremely immature, over the top and dramatic letter (tantrum) you sent to both us and the DOJ, we have decided to happily give you a full refund so that you are not in our lives anymore. This also saves the DOJ from wasting their time. Please be advised that we prefer you and your family chose another hotel when visiting the area. Sincerely,
Adventure Suites"
Not sure this is the best way to conduct business but there it is.

Warning- this hotel has a terrible refund policy. Do not Book-You will not get your money back even if New Hampshire State Covid restrictions prevent you from traveling to the state. Unbelievable insensitivity!

I think guests deserve to know in advance of their stay that during the pandemic, many staff and guests in this hotel do not wear masks. They do not require masks in common areas or by housekeepers or those making food. They do not offer any reassurances about extra cleaning or sanitizing either. I would expect a hotel to lean toward being cautious to protect all guests. This would be a 5 star review for the cool theme rooms and fun decor, but safety should be a top priority. Thus I cull my rating down to 3 circles (average) rather than 5. It is so unfortunate that this neat hotel doesnt go the extra mile to demonstrate they care.

Went here for a couples night away. Assumed that hotels would have to follow the state’s lodging guidelines. Guess some just think they’re above it, this being one of them. They ask no screening questions upon arrival. The staff doesn’t wear masks. Guests aren’t required to wear masks in common areas either. It was so uncomfortable. Honestly looking back, should have left and fought for my money back. But we had traveled and spent the money. We had to air out our room and wear our N95s for a while upon arrival. The cleaning staff weren’t wearing masks and the person who shows you your room didn’t either. Makes you wonder what else they aren’t doing. I don’t recommend it. Look elsewhere. The cool looking themed rooms aren’t worth feeling unsafe and supporting an establishment that doesn’t care about your safety.

Hotel staff was very nice, the hotel offers lots of amenities and is definitely one of a kind. Our hotel room was clean and very comfy, I would say that the bathroom in Cupid’s corner is probably the most out of date out of all of the other hotel rooms. All of the other themed rooms look to have walk in tiled showers, Cupid is a standard looking bathroom. That being said it didn’t damper the trip at all and it was a very nice stay. Definitely want to come back to try out different rooms.
