This is a fun quick trip that involves history, physical activity and a great view. Our family enjoys going once a summer! The souvenir shop nearby is also a fun trip!

Great climb and walk along the water. There is a boardwalk and an additional challenging walk on the rocks.

As if Long Beach Island wasn’t beautiful enough already. This state park is a great way to spend the day, and learn something new. The lighthouse is steep, but the view is worth it. You can walk around the state park & access bathrooms and a visitors center, too.

Standing guard at the Barnegat inlet offers outdoor views and a true sense of what New Jersey's seaside and why this historical natural landscape is so special any season....fishin is good too!

I had traveled from NY the day before and it kinda took me forever to get to the hotel I was staying at in Beach haven. The thought of going anywhere the next day was UGH! but this was well worth it..I love lighthouses but have never climbed to the top of one..well despite my claustrophobia and fibromyalgia I made it all the way to the top. 217 steps!..
