We had DelPonte's Coal Fired Pizza cater a party for us. The food was excellent. Everyone wanted to know where we got the yummy food from. We had eggplant rolatini, chicken scarp, Orichette with broccoli rabe and sausage and penne in vodka sauce. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted even better!!

Affordable local eatery . The service is always good. It’s a BYOB , has great pizza and antipasto! A must to visit when in Bradley Beach!

Great place to get a pizza and a salad. The pizza is prepared the way with like it: cooked in a coal fired oven, with a crispy crust and a large variety of fresh toppings. Last night, for example, we had the "di cippola" pizza with proscuitto, sliced onions and arugula. And, to go with the pizza, we had an apple pecan salad. This is not your run of the mill side salad that is little more than lettuce. The salad options at Del Ponte's are unique and inventive and always prepared to order with fresh ingredients.

All pizzas are great and their panini sandwiches are very good too. Outdoor patio seating along with being a BYOB place makes it extra special.

Del Ponte' s Brick Oven Pizza is an enormously popular spot in Bradley Beach, New Jersey for good reasons : 1. The pizza , salads and panini sandwiches are consistently delicious 2. The prices are quite reasonable for quality ingredients 3. It's BYOB 4. The waitstaff is always pleasant, welcoming and efficient. This casual eatery is a favorite Summertime "go to" for us when we are in the area of Spring Lake or Avon. We enjoy the outdoor seating, but indoor seating is available as well. I can't comment about the pasta dishes as they are a new addition to the menu and none of us have tried them. I did notice that they are now offering the dairy free cheese substitute for those who require this product.
We are particularly fond of the warm goat cheese salad with mesclun, glazed walnuts, strawberries and dried cranberries. Each of the well baked, meticulously prepared pizzas is a different combination of fresh ingredients. On this visit, we chose the Napolitano version with kalamata olives, ricotta , spinach and mushrooms. The pizzas are available in two sizes, small and large. I can also recommend The Tucson Chicken Panini ( grilled chicken with grilled asparagus & oozing melted cheese) as a favorite! The salad accompianing the panini features shaved pecorino cheese, mozzarella balls and cherry tomatoes.. perfect together!
If you're not too full and want a sweet treat ... get their gelato! It does not disappoint !!! Baci is bellissimo!!
