Have made many trips here over the years always a winner. Friendly staff, large variety of animals and unlike many small zoos plenty of big African animals. Free admission and parking OK food service and nice picinic area in the park. Good gift shop with a lot of kid friendly stuff.

We visited this zoo, on a frosty Day in October, expecting it to be very small. Were we ever wrong - this place is incredible and we were for a lot longer than we had anticipated for a free attraction. The grounds were beautiful, clean, well signed and just amazing. Loved the variety of animals and especially the peacocks that were walking freely on the grounds. There is so much to see and do here, so make sure you take the time to visit. You will love it! We also loved the two volunteer ladies we met while viewing the mother and baby tiger - so friendly and informative!

No fee to get in but donations are appreciated. They have made a lot of improvements over the last few years including installing a zip line area. So much nicer than Philly zoo- no fee parking and beautifully kept grounds. We recommend all of our hotel guests to go here. They all rave about it.

It's unbelievable that there is no charge for an adventure like this one---and that's thanks to the residents of Cape May County who through their taxes support this magnificent park/zoo facility. It is a day well-spent with friends or family members of all ages. On elevated walkways, you can look down upon a re-created natural habitat that a large variety of exotic animals make their homes. The County Rec. department sees to it that all animals and reptiles are well cared for and live in a safe and friendly environment. Our daughter is now 30 years old, but we still try to find the time to visit. In the summer, the best days to visit and avoid huge crowds would be on sunny days when most people are taking to the beaches. Also, in the cooler months the animals are more animated than during the heat of summer. This truly is one of the gems of Cape May County.
