My first thought about Rodizio was, "how can you eat so much meat without it all tasting the same?"
Rodizo is Brazilian barbeque. You are presented with over 13 kinds of meat brought to you on a large skewer right from the rotisserie. Each type of meat is brought to your table and slid or carved onto your plate. Every kind had a distinct flavor. Beef short ribs, chicken drumsticks, the most tender roast beef. All of it was delicious. Rodizio comes with all you can eat sides, as well. Black beans, rice, collard greens and a vegetable relish.
If you're going to have an appetizer, the calamari is great and the garlic shrimp was amazing. Churrascaria is a little on the pricier side but not out of bounds for the amount of food you get. Get the chocolate cake!

tried 3 types of wines here, could not drink any of them...from sauvignon blanc to white zinfandel to pinot grigio. Atmosphere is nice, meal was average.

Well we took MOM out to eat today having reviewed several restaurants in the Hackettstown area and I settled on this resturant. The staff was very friendly and we were seated and settled down to place our orders. MOM ordered "Shrimp in Green Sauce", I ordered "Fillet" rare wrapped in bacon and our son order "Red Snapper". Our dishes were very good in all respects. However, MOM's dish was tasteless, the sauce was watery and the shrimp were over cooked and mushy. What a wasted trip for this family and MOM left hungry.

We were invited to a birthday luncheon at the new location - we had enjoyed Churrascarria Paladar at their former location so knew we were in for a treat - and was not disappointed. We chose the Rodizo and feasted on multiple meats served traditionally on skewers. Sides were traditional as well and plentiful. Lunch pricing is best way to try this style of eating but bring an appetite as you'll be more than satisfied. Obrigado!
