I stayed at the airport Marriott for a business trip, booking a concierge room with access to the lounge. You board a Marriott shuttle bus that circles the airport stopping at each terminal and arrive at the hotel within 10 minutes. The hotel is a matter of a few hundred yards from the terminals but there is no pedestrian walkway so the only safe way is to take the shuttle.

The hotel is modern and clean, the most surprising thing is the level of soundproofing - I never heard a jet once. The lounge provided beverages all day long with a nice breakfast buffet in the morning and treats in the evening.

To get into New York, you need to take the Marriott bus to the airport, then the Airtrain to the main airport train station and Penn Station in NYC is about 35 minutes away.

Interesting hotel. Right in the middle of Newark Airport, but hard to get to because of the construction.

Stayed multiple days. We arrived by plane; then, took the tram and waited for their free van. About an hour trip. You can’t walk to it from the terminal s and a taxi costs $35.

Next day rented a car. Went around the airport a few times before I found the right road. The signs are extremely bad.

The parking lot is secured. It requires the room key to enter and exit. Unfortunately, our keys didn’t open the gate and had to call for assistance; a minor irritant.

But, worth the aggravation; nice hotel. It caters to business professionals. Clean. Standard modern room. There’s no free breakfast. The workout room was good. Check-in was easy.

I would stay, again.

There is nothing bad I can say about this hotel. It was excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was large and clean. Perfect place to stay or unwind if your flight is delayed. Their bus goes to and from the terminals every 15 minutes.

I really want to like this hotel, the rooms are fine and the gym is great. Unfortunately the restaurant is a complete rip off, I live in Manhattan and would not pay these prices unless a celebrity chef is involved., The Starbucks also follows suit and charges prices other than is what is displayed on the board. Would you pay $7.14 for a bagel when the price of $2.95 posted is already high enough? That seems illegal to me. I contacted Starbucks corporate office and they say they are independent and can charge whatever they want. The hotel's shuttle driver takes loads of guests to the Airport Food Court so they can get some "decent" food at a reasonable price, How desperate can you be?

My wife stayed at this property for just one night ... and thankfully so. This is one tired and cramped hotel. Even the Concierge Lounge was disturbingly noisy and surprisingly small. Antiquated equipment was buzzing loudly. The only saving grace was the staff in the lounge that evening and in the morning. They were absolutely wonderful. The room was totally without personality and the bathroom was tiny. We will not return. Recommend seeking out a newer property nearby.
