Ate here for first time with a friend. Breakfast was very good. Coffee refills without having to ask. I had a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich which was tasty. Fresh squeezed orange juice was another treat. My friend had a Florentine omelette and an Irish Soda Bread scone!! Yum! Green and white check tablecloths, large windows letting in lots of light, cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We visited this week for lunch.
The service is terrible and Alice even had to come over after the waitress ignored us for several minutes. Alice seemed flustered and only wanted to take our drink order though we were ready to order our food as well.
The waitress had an attitude after and served hot tea without the tea, French fries without ketchup and chicken fingers without any sauce.
As soon as a group of locals came in, Alice could not do enough for them while we had to wait and request a tea bag or ketchup . We will never return, there are too many better places with pleasant service to put up with this.

We got to Alice's often during the summer for breakfast. It is a casual place (wear your bathing suit) with a touch of Irish fare. the service is always cheerful and you are never rushed. To prove the point we read our newspapers (by ipad) and never are we rushed. The scones are terrific and the home made cakes also delicious. From there it is a short walk to the beach.

Having a hankering for a full Irish breakfast and hearing from friends about this place, we gave it a visit last Sunday. The service was fast, and the breakfast authentic. A bit too much food, so next time it will be pancakes for me. NIce choices for lunch, but on Sunday the place closes at 1:30 so keep that in mind. And is just a breakfast and lunch place.

We decided to give this place another go. We loved it when it first opened but felt it had declined somewhat. Unfortunately it's still in a downturn. I ordered the Irish breakfast, $14, the food was poorly cooked, portions were small and a number of items were missing (from menu description). The server eventually brought over a spoonful! Of beans, after asking twice but we were told that they had just run out of brown bread, this is exactly what we were told on our last visit. I really wanted to have a great experience here, even a good one would have been sufficient but, alas it will be some time before we return.
