Wanting to try a new place, we ventured to the Red Hen for dinner. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. We were seated promptly at a round table for 2. Seating was cramped and no place to put my pocketbook; did not want it to touch the floor as the floor was dirty. Very loud atmosphere, unable to hold a conversation with each other "yelling". Appetizer was the shrimp/salsa/wontons, not what we expected and definitely not worth the price. The shrimpt were the small salad shrimp and if there were 6 shrimp in the mix, we were lucky. I had the fish tacos. The fish were flaky and good well, except bland; there was no seasoning at all on the fish. Husband had a flatbread. The flatbread had way too much sauce on it, so much that it overpowered the taste. He asked me to taste it to confirm what he thought and I agreed with him, it didn't really taste like sauce, but more like a whole can of tomato paste. Bathroom was so-so, but there was no toilet paper on the roll. Upon looking around, I saw the small container that held the new rolls of toilet paper and I put a new roll on (just like being at home). The waitress was great, but the overall experience left little desire for us to return.
