The owners and staff at this hotel are wonderful. I have never seen a place so well maintained in my life. The OWNERS themselves literally scrub the outside concrete floors. When they fold the tabletop umbrellas every crease is perfect. The rooms are imaculate. This place looks like it was just built. I will never stay anywhere else for as long as I go to Wildwood Crest. .

We have been staying at the Imperial 500 for many years and we love it! The motel is so clean and upgrades are constantly being made to the property. The staff is very friendly and Joe and Ann; Jackie and Jim; family owners, are the greatest. They have become second family to us. My son loves it so much that when we're there (15 days at the end of July, beginning of Aug.) he volunteers his time and helps clean up the outside. Soooo looking forward to our arrival on Friday, July 25, 2008!!!!!

We love the Imperial 500 & have been staying here for several years now. It is a charming, immaculate little motel. After our favorite hotel The Royal Hawaiian started to get dumpy we decided to check out a new place and stayed at the Imperial 500 back in 2001. We fell in love with the place. It's very clean, the staff is so friendly, and the pool is great. Although it is not directly located on the beach (it's across the street) there are no hotels blocking it's view of the ocean so the rooms are all oceanview and they also have an oceanview sun deck and it's nice to sit up there and have lunch or dinner. The people who stay there are also really nice and they have a small arcade that's fun on rainy days. Overall the place is very clean, well-kept, friendly, charming, and AWESOME!!! We have stayed there every year for the past seven years and have our room booked for summer 2008.

This is a long one, please bear with me..My husband & I wanted to vacation in Wildwood Crest, NJ this summer, (the ONLY FREE BEACHES IN NEW JERSEY!), as we always do if we get the chance. We have not had one in 2 yrs. So I came to my Trip Advisor to see what my fellow T.A. members had to say about the places in the 'Crest'. What I read made my heart sink in most cases. I went to a site with the motels/B&B's for the Wildwoods...and found "Imperial 500 Motet", Family owned and operated, with much pride, I shall add. I called, and a VERY bright, friendly voice answered the phone, and we were able to get a bottom ground floor for 4 relaxing nights, we had no problem with ground floor rooms, easy unpacking/repacking the car. Our Hosts were Joe & Anne Salermo and Jim & Jackie Johnson...what kind, friendly people they are. Welling to please, making sure we were enjoying our room and stay...a warm "Good Morning, look like another wonderful day in 'The Crest!' , 'If there's anything we can do for you, please asked', and they MEANT it. Nice huh? Our room 502 was SPOTLESS AND NO MILDEW or BAD SMELLS! Just clean.. We had a 2 room eff. suite, very nice. Nice size, bathroom-again SPOTLESS and you could smell the clean! Shower was clean and worked no problems, 2 TV's the worked like a dream..bed was alittle hard for me, but better than being too soft or too worn. A.C. worked...was alittle loud, but it didn't keep us awake, no worries...walking the beach, playin' in the warm surf by day and strollin' on the boardwalk at night took care of that. Nice little kitchen area with 4-5cups/ 4-5small glasses, 4-5 dinner plates, coffee maker, looked new, toaster, it worked just fine, nice size fridge, again clean, no mildew, pot's & pans, Daily Maid service was excellent! Pool and grounds were kept very, very clean and well maintained. Many families were there with young children and lots of babies, well-behaved too. Our room must have been sound-proof, we had a set of twin girls (maybe 5 months old, SO cute), next to us and didn't hear the midnight feeding..very quiet..Our stay at the '500' was dream come true for us. I can't wait to call them up on Jan. 2, 2008 and make our next vacation with them...maybe we'll stay for 5 nights this time. Lots of extra's, In-Room safe, game room, pool tables, even shuffleboard, check 'em out! And the rates aren't bad, it's one block from the beach and it has a nice view of the ocean. Be well in your travels all, and come back home safe to your families refreshed! :-)
