We visited the Sam Azeez Museum of Woodbine Heritage this week. The director and the guide made us feel very welcome and we had the opportunity to tour the Museum as well as the Synagogue which is one of the 2 remaining original buildings in Woodbine.
It was fascinating to learn about the history from a Woodbine native who was very familiar with the town's history and provided an insight into the population shifts through the years. What began as a Jewish town now has only 3 Jewish families left, but Woodbine still is a busy community.
