Enjoyed the gunning sea views while sipping beer and wine from tin mugs. The menu includes traditional SA meals, most cooked on coals, and gorgeous fresh seafood.

I visited with friends and had a great afternoon, amazing views, a very rustic setting where you feet can feel the sand while you take in the amazing views. The food was great as was the service. Will definitely go back again.

This is my first trip to Jbay and we wanted to see what the best restaurant has to offer. Walskipper was apparently the best out of the lot and decided to target this place. We were almost ejected as the place was really full. After some persistence, we manage to get a table.
For starters, it was the beer bread. Although the crust was inedible, the bread itself was actually quite nice.
Then, it was the seafood platter which was cooked in the fire. The fresh prawns and crayfish tasted how they were supposed to taste, nice, fresh and simple Flavours. The fish was well cooked, but it needed a bit of seasoning and the calamari was beautifully fried.
Then it was coffee and the malva pudding which was a delight.
Overall a great place to eat at a great location

Simple down to earth decor to blend with the beach theme. All drinks are served in a tin mug even on bubbly and wine. Food is big portion but inexpensive. You get to enjoy the views of the beach with a meal which is pretty awesome.

We come here every year as a family for a late lunch and enjoy spending hours together. Bring your swimming costume so you can have a dip before or after your meal or in between! Home made bread is deadly delicious! Pate and jam available as well. Seafood is good but the highlight are the ribs - to die for! Best tables are the one on the side.
