Co-located with a furnishings outlet, Kim Soo serves one mean chocolate cake; so moist it melts in the mouth with nary a chew, and so richly dark in its chocolate flavor it’d have to be flourlesss to pack any more chocolate in. Unlike a flourless cake, there is a light airiness to the texture. The generously large slice was satisfying, but never nauseatingly dull; the iced caffe latte helped tamper the cake’s intense flavor.
Prices were very reasonable for the quality of mouth-watering desserts served. My only slight disappointment was the lack of space indoors, and less-than-comfortable straight-backed wooden chairs, to while away a lazy afternoon with a book and a sweet treat.
