Had a very nice four nights here, the private pool was fantastic and probably the best feature of this property. Breakfasts in Prana were good, they make a great cappuccino as well. Service is always polite and friendly, we felt safe with the security guards who were helpful and friendly too. Would recommend the Prana Spa and Chill Reflexology but some of the services are not exactly cheap even after 50% discount. The treatments were a little inconsistent, at times fantastic but at times it fell short. One therapist displayed flu symptoms throughout the treatment and this was not ideal. Had two massages at Prana, one was up the with the best I've ever had and one was quite ordinary. Another highlight was the in-villa BBQ and should be tried once. Reasonably located in Seminyak, not too far from anywhere, taxis out front all the time. As is the Bali Deli which looks like a great little spot for quality supplies. Would stay again.

We had six people staying in our 3 bdr villa (4 adults and two kids 2 & 5) and it was fantastic. We stayed 7 nights and could have easily stayed longer. Location is out of the hustle & bustle, but certainly an easy stroll to be in the heart of Seminyak - perfect!

Took the kids all of five minutes to get their bathers on and jump in the supersized pool. The shallow step areas were great for our 2yo. Not tiny steps, but an area big enough for him to play safely. We also requested a pool fence (after reading the suggestion on Trip Advisor) and while it won't stop the kids from getting into the pool if they want to, it certainly acted as a deterrent and barrier for our kids - would definitely recommend it if you are travelling with young kids.

Blown away on the first night when we arrived and ordered room service. We were expecting it to be plonked down in our kitchen (as in Australia), but the two nicest people came in, set the table, set out the meals and even waited until we were all ready to sit and pulled our chairs out and placed our napkins - super room service (needless to say, we used this service on more than one occasion). Room service is obviously more expensive than eating out in Bali, but with this kind of service, you really don't mind! The food we ordered was spot on each time as well!

We had a problem connecting to the wi-fi system, but within 5 minutes of a call to reception, they had a tecnichan there helping us to connect, and then reception followed up with another call the next day to make sure everything was still working okay.

Beds are super comfortable and all bedrooms are airconditioned. The beds are turned down each night, along with a mozzie spray. Ensuites are open-air so can get a little humid, but nothing a cold shower doesn't fix. Showers are over the bath, which is a bit of a climb to get in and out of, but nothing you can't handle if you are careful. Tiles coming into the living area from the pool can get slippery and can be dangerous for kids running in and out, but we put a towel down on the floor and it seemed to work. We didn't have anyone slip over, but could certainly be a possibility. Rooms are very clean and are cleaned and beds made every day - teddies were even placed on the kids beds - nice touch - the kids loved it!

We ate breakfast each morning at the Prana Restaurant and all the staff there were amazing and loved seeing the kids each morning. Breakfasts were great and have a great selection. Try the restaurant at the Bali Deli - we found it on our second last night and probably would have eaten there every night if we had found it earlier. Staff are SUPER with the kids! Bali Deli is also great for any nibblies or supplies that you may need.

Staff at reception were very helpful in organising the villa transport for us to use on our last day. Driver was excellent.

Our only downside to staying here was when we tried to get a late checkout (only to 6pm - an extra 6 hours). We were happy to change villas, and the staff were happy for us to have a late checkout, but at a cost of $280US!!!!!! No thanks very much! Wasn't the perfect end to our holiday, but it's the only downside we had. We also had problems with reception staff passing on messages. Weren't important messages, but still made it difficult to catch up with friends while we were there.

Room Tip: Three bedroom villas are VERY spacious!

Just got back from 14 nights at The Villa's, just wish it was longer........ stayed in a 3 bedroom villa (#41) with our 3 kids (including a toddler), myself & my husband and my sister. The pictures on the website are exactly what you get! I have to say that it was the best family holiday we have ever had. The kids spent the entire two weeks in the pool (the requested pool guard being a god send keeping the toddler out) and they had even thought of a baby seat for the airport transfer and a high chair (even though I had forgotten to request) I also independently booked a nanny from the Balinese based Karsini Services (originally for only 4 hours a day but by the second week had upped to 8 hours for approx $3.5 an hour) The Villa is the perfect size, the third bedroom being far enough away for my sister to get away from the noise of the kids when needed, and close enough to feel safe as travelling alone. The staff were amazing, very helpful when needed but also left you alone so felt very private. We loved the location too, a little off the beaten track but to be honest it felt really nice to get away from the hustle of Seminyak and walk through the quaint back streets. The shops in this part of Seminyak were too good (much to my husband's dismay - oops) and a great selection of local restaurants. The Prana restaurant served a wonderful breakfast, and room service and BBQ dinner all done very well. The kitchen is also well stocked, so we ended up buying in supplies from the local supermarket and bakery and making our own lunch most days. We didn't have any problems with the linen or towels (see previous review) and if fact had to ask the staff to stop changing them each time. Only criticism would be the slippery floor once wet, which with 3 children coming in and out of the pool was bit of a problem. Only been back a day but already working out when we can come again..........

Just returned from Bali and stayed for 4 nights at the Villas in a one bedroom villa. From the second we walked into the villa, we were blown away. Staff were incredible, so friendly and very efficient. The entire Villa was spotless and everything in working order. They had great chill out music playing on the stereo with surround sound outside when we arrived then was told by the Guest Relations man that the same The Villas CD (with cover of the Villa ) was given complimentary to all guests. A great touch I thought and a perfect momento to take home with you. Huge storage room with safe to hide away all your luggage etc. Bathroom very big with all the amenities. Bedroom great size with king bed. However we found the bed very hard and too soft pillows.. Not a great combination for me but its personal preference I guess. Having rained quite a lot during our time in Seminyak, we ate in and were able to sample a lot of things available on the room service menu. Theres a huge selection available and everything we ordered was fresh, very tasty and reasonably priced. The Nasi Goreng remains the best Ive had in Bali! Cocktails great too! Breakfast cooked in the Villa daily was fantastic and a great selection available. We tried all options (Japanese, Indonesian, American, Pancakes, Healthy and Eggs Benedict) and they were all superb especially the Japanese Bento.
The Prana Spa is mind-blowing... Australian prices but definitely worth it. You get 20% off being a house guest which basically covers your government tax which helps. We treated ourselves and got the Pevonia Mens Facial, a massage and a body scrub. Amazing... I can't speak higher of the Spa, just incredible. The photos of the spa don't do its Rajasthan setting justice. Restaurant lacked atmosphere but food tasty and service fantastic.
Overall, Id rate the Villas as one of the best places I've stayed for a relaxing holiday. Id definitely return again without a doubt.

Room Tip: Rooms in the sunset section are away from the main two estates but are much quieter and they will ha...

Ok, here we go! We are back from Bali for a about a week now (I want to go back) and I can honestly report we had a really good stay at The Villas!

We stayed in 1 bedroom Villa #30 in the Sunset Villas. From the moment a staff member had opened the door to our villa we were IN LOVE! We stayed at the villa for 5 nights and found it to be very comfortable and relaxing. The private swimming pool offers complete privacy! If you are into nude sun baking or swimming - you will love this place.

Breakfast prepared in our room was fantastic, we were accommodated for any request we had with food, having started a (blood type related) lifestyle diet a few months prior to our holiday. Japanese breakfast was brilliant and any small change requests for any of the 6 or so options presented to us for breakfast was no problem at all! We ordered a few dinners in our room and all were presented by hotel staff so beautifully! Food for lunch, dinner and snacks to taste by the pool are really well priced (i.e. $8 for a good Thai beef salad as a side). We were very happy with the food choices that were much better than in the nearby restaurants on the main street.

Our bedroom was really comfy, with nice mattress and good pillows. The bathroom - nice and big! Wi Fi in the room is very convenient!

We had our New Year's Eve seafood BBQ dinner in our room. Staff were really good with the presentation but sadly the seafood was really overcooked (I will eat any over cooked food/meat/toast). I think that BBQ seafood offered in the room is really good value (about $35 per person including salad, soup and desert) with many seafood, meat or vegetarian choices but in our case it could have been removed from BBQ a little earlier:). Nevertheless, it didn't spoil our NY eve:).

I had 2 (and my husband 1) treatments at the Prana spa. It was good but I cannot honestly say it was WOW unlike so many other TA members have rated it, but then again you have to try yourself to see!

Overall, I would rate our stay at the Villas was awesome and I highly recommend staying at Warwick Ibah which is affiliated hotel as an extension to the holiday! Good value and amazing holiday!

For the management: I was really happy with everything at the Villas and one really small recommendation that I would have is to change the towels and if possible the bed linen. Its (hopefully!) not that costly but will add so much more "Premium" factor and feel to the guests staying at the hotel. The bed linen was very clean but had some not so pleasant stains some days and I kept asking to change the sheets and the Villas are so environment conscious which is nice and felt bad for asking.

The towels supplied for the pool had holes in them on some days and bathroom towels were very clean but also quiet dated.Of course, my husband rolled his eyes at my suggestions above!:).

Recently arrived back from 7 nights at the Villas, staying with my wife, our 18 month old daughter and one set of grandparents. We stayed in a three bedroom villa (number 21), which is in the second group of villas along JL Kunti.

The villas themselves are very spacious and well set out - the photos on the website are accurate. Service from the staff at the villas is outstanding, everything is done with no questions asked. As an example, our fridge wasn't working when we checked in, and within 30 mins, there was a new one delivered to the villa. All of the staff are very friendly and extremely polite.

Breakfast in the villas is also a good option - as was the BBQ which is cooked in your villa. This was included in our package and was excellent.

The location of the villas themselves is fantastic, walking distance to shopping, eating etc. The Bali Deli is awesome to get any supplies (beer, wine, cheese, nibblies etc) and at reasonable prices.

The Prana spa and Chill were good to experience (we had a free massage included at Prana), but there are so many other massage/spa places around at a fraction of the price if that's what you are after.

The only warning I would have about the villas is that the marble floors can get VERY slippery with even just the smallest amount of water on them. We probably noticed this a bit more because we have a young one, and also because there were a few days of heavy rain.

In summary we were really happy with our stay at the Villas and would definitely return.

If shopping is your thing then you cant beat The Villas with such a central location in Seminyak. The Villas are comfortable if a little tired but very private. The staff as one now expects in bali are there to help.
Whilst maintence is good I would think that The Villas are not far off a major re-vamp.Certainly the room towels need to be replaced as a matter of urgency-they are very old and thin-definetly not 5 star
