“Awesome!”
Reviewed 27 May 2012

Very recently stayed at the Breezes for 9 nights. It was my partner and I's first trip to Bali and we were more than happy with our stay. Our room was beautiful and the housekeepers did an amazing job everyday. Yes there was construction next door but you could barely hear it, and we were only 3 rooms away from it. The staff were super friendly and helpful with hotel things as well as information about Bali. Not to mention very helpful tips. and the room service was fast and the food quality was excellent.
The pool and grounds are very well kept. There were alot of familys staying so kids were around the pool all day, but mostly in the kid pool. The bar pool was great fun playing bingo and pool comp. The resort is only a 150mt walk to the beach and only 45min beach walk to Kuta.
The breakfast was fresh and had a great range, and the resort resturant was very good.
Only a short cheap cab ride to Seminyak square and other places.
We very much enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: 1st floor rooms near the bar pool are away from the construction

We have just returned from the Breezes after a 5 night stay. I do agree with the previous review, there is a major construction going on next door. We were lucky as we were far enough from the noise so it was ok. The hotel is not located in the main part of Seminyak so you will have to get a cab to and fro but its not costly. The rooms are not huge but they are clean. The breakfast is lovely with a great choice and they provide a great selection of food for room service. There are always activities going on so we were always busy, volley ball in the pool, bingo at the bar-my 7yr son was also kept busy with the kids club. Next door to the Breezes is a supermarket and across the road down the street next to Bennys rest is a laundry service. Also across the road and a few doors to the left is Carl Spa where you can get massages etc really cheap. We enjoyed staying at the Breezes, but it depends on what you want-if you want a fun place with lots going on, this is the place for you but it you want peace and quiet perhaps look elsewhere..

Room Tip: We did not have the pool rooms and we were glad as the music from the pool bar( boom boom) goes on t...

I had stayed here before a couple of years ago and it was excellent. so decided to take the inlaws this time. Renovating entire hotel, banging, drilling, smell of paint. Inlaws got there before us and their room was right next to a room being renovated. Wasnt relaxing at all. When we arrived with a baby, we were told our adjoining room which we paid extra for was not available. We had been placed in two seperate rooms no where near the pool. Put our daughter down for a nap. One of us had to sit in the corridor as the room was so far away from the pool the baby monitor did not reach. We requested a move and they hesitantly moved us to a room closer to the pool so our daughter could sleep. (they expected her to sleep in a room by herself, with no adjoining door, she was 1) The next day we got moved to the room we should have had (moving for the third time with a baby was very tiring). Once in this room, it was better as the monitor reached the pool, we could lock her door from inside while she slept but they placed a young family with a baby near a building site. where they were building a villa or similar. All day bang bang bang. The cleaners closet was right next to where my daughters head was and the maintenance cupboard about 2 meters from her balcany door. The noise was constant day and night. Our daughter didnt sleep well during the days as either the cleaner, maintenance man or builder would be sure to wake her. All attempts to complain and get the situation rectified failed. My daughters room smelt strongly of smoke. Every morning we would go in and it was over powering. They gave us 500000 on the bar (which was actually the difference in the cost of the room we should have had the first night). And that was all. They were very rude, always saying theyd get back to us and didnt. Were not understanding of the situation. Will NEVER retrun to this hotel. Their website did not advertise that the hotel was undergoing a major renovation. Hotel is worn out, old, tatty. If you have kids, I do not recommend it. We put a sign on cleaners closet asking if they could try be quiet as our daughter was sleeping. The cleaner ripped it off and smirked, going about his banging.

Room Tip: Don't stay here at all

This is the sort of hotel which is great for a family if you're happy to stay in a busy place with not much privacy and plenty of other tourists, mostly Aussies.

The pools are great and there's plenty of other activities for kids - kids club, tennis courts, pool table.

The swim-up is well frequented and bingo and drinking games seem to be on the agenda most days.

We were a bit worried it would be pretty noisy - our room faced the pool - but thankfully everyone seemed to head off relatively early.

Our room was reasonable - a triple - at about $120 a night.

The hotel's in a good spot about 5 mins walk from the beach and beach bars including Champlung.

The service was good. They were prompt to address a couple of issues - leaky air conditioner and explanation of how to work the DVD player.

Room Tip: Some rooms have exclusive pool frontage - but those right next to the swim-up bar may prove a bit no...

Staff were delightfully friendly. Rooms pleasant and comfortable. Nice pool but a shame about all the smokers at the pool bar (I couldn't get near it without nearly having an asthma attack). Thankyou though to Mulia at d'Base restaurant/bar for being such an attentive hostess.

Just got back from 10 nights at the Breezes. We loved it!!! We arrived early and our room was not ready but we were given a towel card and told that we were more than welcome to use the pool and facilities while we waited. Our room was beautiful. We stayed in a junior suite which was slightly more expensive than their normal pool access rooms but def worth it. LOts of little extras in the room, like a computer with free internet and an ipod dock plus a few other little nice extras.

Breakfast was awesome, so much food. Balinese plus "American" style and eggs made fresh to order however you like so plenty to choose from. The restaurant at the hotel is nice and both there and the pool bar have long happy hours. Cocktails are good, once you get to know the bar people they are so great. The hotel runs activities everyday which we won lots of prizes from (free drinks/dinner/massages) they're great fun and a good way to chat to a few other people.

The pool is great, it has 2 sections and wasnt really crowded at all while we were there. Its tiered so you can normally get a spot all for yourself. The location is great, its not in central Seminyak but only a $2 cab ride to the main street. The street that its in has heaps of restaurants and salons and a few shops for bartering. its nice and quiet and you dont feel hassled as soon as you step outside(apart from drivers wanting to take you somewhere) its so close to beach if thats what you're after. Kuta is only $5 by taxi and 20 mins so its easy to get everywhere.

Last of all... the staff. so friendly, and happy to help anytime you need anything. The guys that run the activites are heaps of fun and have a great sense of humour. Our room was so clean and so is the resort. We loved our stay here and wish we had longer than 10 nights, but we will def be coming back!!!

Room Tip: If you're happy to spend a bit more the junior suite is great, in a quiet corner plus a private...
