Excellent hotel!! Being the oldest hotel in Nakhon Ratchasima, many would have imagined Sima Thani being incompetent, but our family and friends had a very relaxing stay because this hotel offered more than expected . The hotel is situated in a very convenient area and only a 10 minutes drive to the museum, zoo and many nice restaurants, and 1 hr drive to Chaiyaphum. Since it was recently renovated, it seemed nice and clean with a hint of ancient luxury. Our room had a large bed with a bedside control panel for the AC and lights. The AC was cool to cold, quite and did not produce any musty air. Most important the bathroom was new, clean and the water pressure was good. We were also impressed at the service at the registration, bell, restaurant and bar staffs and housekeeping. We are sorry we can not mention any names since all were outstanding in their service and unlike other hotel local staffs, your staffs were diligent and very helpful. The fitness was small and situated behind the clean pool and you can buy water there at 10Bahts a bottle! On the ground floor, there are small shops for snacks and amenities and a relaxing massage/ spa was downstairs. Chinese buffet (dim sum)which we have not tried, is offered in the Chinese restaurant here, but we tried international restaurant, which was good but a bit low on spice for Tom Yum Goong, a popular Thai soup. We enjoyed drinks at the lobby, where we had an Irish coffee and luckily for us, there was no live music at the lobby and so it was very relaxing. That's the whole point-to relax! In the morning there was a variety of food offered at breakfast from congee to noodles to rice or spaghetti. Lastly Thank you to the management also for a quick check-in and out here.
